This is the red speckled Donegal tweed from last winter.

It was a show stopper for me, from the second I saw it.

Just want to confirm at 170 lbs and 6'0 with a slim build I would be a medium in Epaulet shirts? I wear 15.5 x 34 in Brooks Brothers extra slim fit. This would be a MTO fabric so perhaps I should go with medium and increase sleeves length by an inch. Are the shirts on the short side for the sleeves?

You might consider a large. How does the chest measurement on the BB extra slim compare to the EP size charts?

I would also recommend the large.

To be honest I am confused because the 34 inch for Brooks represents sleeve length but Epaulet sleeve chart shows 26 inch for M and 26.5 inch for L.

Chest for BB says 38 inches. Epaulet M chest says 20 inches.

The chest for EP's is halved, so it would be 40".

Sleeve on the BB is fron the centre of the back.  EP is from the shoulder seam to the cuff.  Measure your BB sleeve from seam to cuff.

Also measure the shoulders on the BB.  Lay it flat on the table, buttons down on table, measure the top of the shoulder seam left to right to get "shoulder" measurement.

FWIW I'm a 15x33 in BB ESF and take an Epaulet Medium.

Similar stats to me but Large is way too big on me.

Agree - think M is the way to go for OP.

6', 195 here, wear 16/35 in BBESF, and an EP Large in shirting

I think it depends on your chest measurement. My chest measures 39" and I found the BB ESF in 15.5-34 to be a bit tight in the chest area. The arm holes felt too high. This is about the same as Epaulet shirt size M for me. I can wear both BB ESF 15.5-34 & EP size M, but dislike the slight tightness I feel in the chest area, so I opt for EP size L. I've been very happy with size L in all "Epaulet" shirt cuts (New England, Gitman, Individualized).

If BB ESF 15.5-34 fits you well, I think EP size M would be your correct size.

I actually wear a BBESF in the same exact size (15.5 34). But it is pretty fitted. I would recommend the L in Epaulet X NE shirt co but a M in Epaulet X Gitman

Also your best bet is to measure your best fitting shirt and compare, which people have suggested.

This. I'm about the same height and weight but workout moderately and the chest and shoulders on the Epaulet M are way too small.
