No talk on the MTO individualized floral shirts? I love the Alois white floral print.

http://epauletnewyork.com/collections/made-to-order-shirting/products/made-to-order-shirting-fall-15-prints-and-florals

Need some help though. I have never ordered a shirt from Epaulet before. I am a 15.5 - 34 in Brooks Brothers extra slim fit shirts. I am 6'0 and 170 lbs. What size should I go with? Any alterations I should make to sleeve length, body length?

Are grey buttons okay with this print or should I stick with cream?

What would be the best button down style to wear this shirt with odd trousers?

You sound like a Medium. I am personally a big fan of spread/point collars with floral print shirts but the Individualized button-down collar works with everything.

Anyone have LBM confessions?

I ended up with the navy flannel suit. Last minute decision.satisfied.gif

If I were to stop by either ny store on tuesday would the moleskin field jackets be available? (or the earliest time possible, i need this jacket...)

I'm kind of in between a medium and a small and would like to try both

Nice choice. I wound up with the farmer check (navy; wheat; mocha)

If I hadn't bought a couple suits through the Southwick MTO last month, I would have definitely gotten the Lapis Vintage Tweed and probably also the Bright-Blue Windowpane.

There are a lot of awesome choices there from LBM.

What was the expected turnaround time for October's Ends for friends promotion?
(I went back to see if I could find the estimated processing time in the thread but all the links are inactive).

Also are the Thedi MA-1's still expected to come in this week?

@OdusBK they're scheduled to arrive in Manhattan on Tuesday - so that's going to be the only store that has them. We'll try to get some back to Brooklyn, but it might be the weekend for that.

Was out last week so sorry if I missed this, but re: the Field Jacket, I have two questions:

1. Is the loden moleskin he same fabric as used for the MTO Walt trousers? I got those and it's a super luxe fabric. I guess I'm wondering if I could go full loden caz suit.

2. Are there going to be future versions/MTOs/GMTOs/special orders down the road for this field jacket?

Thanks!

@eljlakers

1) It's a bit lighter than the Walt/Rudy/Driggs Moleskin. That trouser stuff is from the UK, this moleskin is from the US. It's the same weight that we use in the Rivet Chino. I chose this because it had a bunch of colors (notably deep loden, grey, and brown) that the UK moleskin isn't offered in.

2) Maybe, but that would be realistically next Fall. We have pretty big minimums on the Field coat - 200 units. I don't think that I'd ever find a fabric cool enough to do that many units in a GMTO, but it would be possible to maybe sell 30-50 units in a really rad special fabric and then restock Moleskins and basics alongside that.

I love the field jacket and plan to order the loden one. However, the sleeves length worries me.

I bought an Essex denim jacket and the sleeves length is 1.5 - 2 inch too long for me. And base on the measurment chart, the length of the field jacket is even 0.5 inch longer than the Essex.

@stevefok shortening should be pretty easy. Like the Thedi jacket, we designed this with a distinct double-stitched cuff. The tailor removes the cuff, reattaches it further up the coat, and just tapers the sleeve a little bit.

That said, I agree - the Essex sleeves are long on certain guys. But I don't think you'll see the same issue with the field coat. My arms are fairly short for my build and nearly everything that we make OTR is too long in the sleeve. I guess that the Field Jacket is a touch, but it's not a problem for me - the style looks good hanging a little lower and the cuff is smaller, so the sleeve easily stacks. But alteration should be easy if you need it.

Would the Chelseas be resoleable?
Chelseas look so nice. I've owned a pair before and I tried one on recently and for some reason I love the thought of it but didn't care for it on me.

But I'm still like fuck I should buy one from epaulet lol

I've been so un-decided on colour.  I'm in for Snuff, and think I'll stay with it.  First shot looks pretty good.

Temped by Saddle CC and Ghost.
