Further speaking of tennis trainers

Fresh from a trip to Epaulet. Teak trainers were too good to pass up. Really cool look and amazingly comfortable. Also tried on the Vittorio from LBM - it really is an amazing jacket.

And now for something completely (not) different:

First real wear of the HH sport trainers paired with some really cool light blue scrubs.

So many great sneaker pics! I'm definitely gonna have to jump on the next HH run

I'm looking at getting a 40R sportscoat (Southwick). I wear a size L EP shirt, which fits me well, and usually around an 18" shoulder fits me well on blazers. I have a little bit of a belly :). Would the recommendation be go for the 40R, and if necessary letting out around the waist? Or sizing up to 42?

Those teak trainers really do look fantastic. Epaulet team, how would those work for wide feet? (E fitting?)

can only speak for my pair of shell trainers I received this week, but I sized up .5 from my brannock dress size (out of fear that sticking with my brannock size might make them ill fitting).

happily, going up .5 is perfect with medium weight socks.

simple answer would be no.

epaulet doesn't have sample sales and doesn't run sales. Items that hit the sales section of the site are usually just items that didn't sell that season or there's a change of some sort going on. Sometimes epaulet will have a 25% off coupon for sales items but never off regular merch. so if there's something you really like, don't wait on it, b/c it might be gone before you know it.

Do you have other sport coats to compare? Epaulet jackets are certainly on the slimmer side. I take a 38 in traditional brands (Brooks Brothers, J Press, non-Epaulet Southwick) but I am certainly a 39 or 40 in EP. Chest and waist are more narrow in Epaulet fits for sure

You don't have any luck letting out the waist? I'm just afraid of the shoulder being too big by sizing up. My best fitting sports coat is around 18" shoulder

Is anyone else having difficulty choosing from the LBM sport coats.  I keep going between the forest and navy Donegal.  The navy would be the safest bet for me. Then my interest shift towards the Farmer check offering.  I would love to buy all of them but likely would be divorced once the boxes are left on my front door. Which materials are you guys considering ?

Does anyone have a side by side pic of the Saddle, Auburn and Teak colored tennis shoes? I can't make up my mind. Thanks.
