Mike, I see you are putting all the cord and tartan shirt options up on the pre-order section. I really applaud you for finding a way for us to order the stuff that appeals to us without Epaulet getting soaked for unsold inventory. From the outside at least, this seems like a great solution.

Grey chinos this week?

Grey chinos should ship out the end of this week, and I expect to get them late next week. Fingers crossed!

And thanks - glad that you dig it! For us, the preorder section is a good way to ensure that our best customers get access to products which we're doing in limited runs. We've had situations in the past where we launch a fairly limited (20pcs or so) item, it gets picked up by a blog, and we blow through sizes quickly. I'll then have guys in Europe or Asia who are loyal customers asking where all the stock went. Unfortunately, it was 4AM their time when it went online!

So, we keep the preorders on the down low so that customers who really want the items can lock in their units before the general product launch.

Oh, and I've gotten a few inquiries about our preorder policy. If you place one, it can be canceled and refunded at any time. Just ask. The unit is already in production anyway, and I don't want to lock away your money if you need it. It's no problem at all, and we can put through a refund within 24 hours.

Alright, second big drop of the day!

First off are two Worsted Merino wool trousers. It's 100% wool, and the yarn comes from Australia. This fabric makes for an excellent Fall/Winter piece with a medium weight that sits between a standard wool dress trouser and a heavier wool flannel trouser. We've got them available in two colors. "Cadet Grey" is a medium grey with a slight blue tone. "Air Force Blue" is a medium grey with a pronounced navy tone.

They're really versatile trousers that can be worn as dress pants or easily dressed down. You can see them paired with our Alden Two Stroke Indy in the fit pics. They're available in both Walt and Rudy fits.

And the third pant is unlike anything I've seen before. Woven in Italy, this 100% cotton fabric is called "Corduroy Tweed." From a distance, it looks like a solid gunmetal grey. But once you get up close, you'll see that the individual yarns are woven in a complex pattern of blue, dove grey, tan, and olive. This is a one-time production of 16 units, and it's only available in the Walt fit.

I know, I'm a stinker. This is the only trouser release that we have until the deadstock pieces arrive around the end of the month. These fabrics were too good to pass up. I'm going to wear the ass out of some Cadet Grey Rudy's once New York gets past the hot-as-all-hell weather.

Can you post the weight on the trousers? Specifically interested in the Olive Windowpane Tweed, the Navy Wool Flannel and the Corduroy Tweed. Thanks.

Hmmm, good question. All three of these were deadstock pieces that I didn't originally order, so I don't have the full specs outside of fabric content and origin.

All three of them are pretty sturdy. I'd estimate about 9-10oz on the Olive Tweed, 10 or 11oz on the Wool Flannel, and about 12oz on the Corduroy Tweed.
