@Epaulet I would definitely be interested in some suede longwings or Alt W's in the mid 200s. I really dig off-beat suede colors but that often entails going MTO from higher-end makers, putting the cost at $600+. I would be very interested in seeing the possibility.

@Epaulet Awesome. Thanks for the update. I'm leaning heavily toward the combat boots. They sound perfect for my needs. Definitely looking forward to them!

Very cool. I'm an Alt Wien addict. It's far and away my favorite shoe pattern.

Let me ask you guys, do you prefer the traditional big punch medallion captoe, like on this Vass pair?

Or the more restrained medallion that Alden uses:

Never been a fan of Alt Wiens but prefer the Alden to the Vass

A resounding yes to the PTB in suede.

Actually, I'd give a resounding yes to any footwear other than a full-on dress shoe in suede. Would love a GAT in all suede.

Would be very interested in a suede longwings as well, with a suede PTB second and the Alt W's coming in last for me.

Some ideas...in no particular order. I won't do snuff as I have a pair.

Polo Suede

Tan Suede

Navy suede

Copper Suede

Blue Suede

DONE. We'll set this up. Got a few other preorder things going first, but we can absolutely do this for Spring.

The beautiful thing is that I have an absolutely huge freaking book of suedes. We could literally make any color of suede in the PTB. Easy to offer a matched belt too. The price is really reasonable, so it's a good opportunity to get something off-kilter. Getting things like brass eyes is no problemo.

Which BTW: white suede PTB, brass eyes, light edgetrim on the sole...........................

Sweet! Personally I'm really leaning towards the Tan LWB. My heart is somewhat set on a longwing.

Mike,

1. Don't forget about my navy and cognac runners for a preorder!
2. LOVE the VH gif. Will make me smile all week.
3. Thanks, as usual, for the honest discussion about the donegal shirts. I can honestly say I support your biz not just because your products are rad but because it's great supporting a team that's so hardworking and honest.

Gentlemen, since we're on the subject of footwear... the Oxblood Horse & Alabaster Calf Sport Trainer balance item is up:

SPORT TRAINER OXBLOOD HORSEHIDE & ALABASTER CALF BALANCE PAYMENT

The balance is $155 for the Horsehide and $95 for the calfskin. We'll try to get all of these sent out on Wednesday. They came out wonderful! Here's some pics:

In regards to the PTBs, do you have a pretty large stock of them, or do you expect to run out fast? Also, how is the fit on them? Do they run true to size? If we purchase them on Wednesday, when will they ship by?

@noonetoplay we received 36 pairs in each color. Not really sure how quickly they'll sell - it's a brand new item for us.

I find the fit to be very true to size, and it runs quite consistent with our sneakers. Take your normal dress shoe size in them. You can try on an Allen Edmonds Park Ave or even a Jack Purcell low to compare if you don't own any of comparison pieces listed in the online item. You'd most likely take the same size as in those. The width on this is definitely medium. If you take a wide in an AE Park Ave I think that it would be okay, but any Alden wide fitting guys would probably find this to be tight.

Suede makeups sound very promising.

What about a horsehide preorder for these PTBs @Epaulet? Of course, I have yet to confirm my assumption that the EP/Comipel horsehide sneakers will be awesome... But we're thinking ahead here.

I will order a suede PTB the day it's posted.

+1 on something suede.

@frankcowperwood is always on point. I would probably prepay for an Ep horsehide shoe. My vote would be for a perforated captoe / alt wien design with maybe a double leather or dainite sole. Something of a daily workhorse to beat the heck out of.

Can't wait. My horsehide trainers are scheduled to arrive today. Thanks for shipping them despite the chaotic weekend I'm sure you had!
