I plan to have the sleeves shortened still (I'm 5'9") and I might chat with my tailor about options on shortening the body. I wear it on occasion as is anyway now so even w/out further body modifications I think it'll earn it's place in my rotation once the sleeves are shortened a bit.

I wear an EPNY large with the darts removed "for comfort"; recently picked up a loopwheel tee in large and it fits well. I would try your same size.

Thanks gents. 1 inch in the body would be better; it works fine as a longer coat, but I think I'd prefer it as a shorter coat.

I could probably try to soak just the body and not the sleeves, but I might just put it up in B&S. That's too bad as the fabric was great. Seems like it's working for lots of folks here though (when I search the thread for Chambray Doyle, it pops up a lot).

If any other owners of the piece have comments on shrinking it, please let me know.

I washed mine and did the hot dryer and saw a bit of shrinkage but not much

EPAULET SHIRTING OCTOBER 2015 ENDS FOR FRIENDS

It's alive! First two fabrics are loaded in, and we'll have a bunch more coming up shortly. Looks like we can do $110 for nearly all of them.

And we have silk. For real. Who out there wants a silk shirt?

That Grey Eagle Tartan is a nice match to the COKE Rollie GMT

Dont miss this one guys:

I can't believe how soft this fabric is - and we've only got enough fabric for two units.  In fact, never mind, I'm grabbing one of these for myself :D :fence:

Some neat stuff so far. The pale red twill is tempting.

I'll try and measure the back length on mine when I get home from work. Not sure that they started at the same point but mine is a 40 too

Hey Mike - what is the fabric like for the Purple Washed Canvas?  Similar to an Oxford?
