Does anyone have any pics of the Epaulet full court highs being worn/after some wear? (I'm looking at the all white ones, but any color would help).

Also, proper credit where credit is due. It's called the Ryden boot because it was designed/proposed by @rydenfan

Fantastic fit -- basically the Platonic ideal of autumn. Are you upstate? The leaves are still green down here in the city.

OSC cross does have a web store, they sell the St. John's parka in a few colours, pretty much same price as EP, but without the blacked out hardware and unbranded outer.

A few questions:

1) Take a look at the taping on the left leg here: http://epauletnewyork.com/collections/bottoms/products/new-rivet-chino-8-oz-canvas-fatigue

The seam is one of my favorite parts of many epaulet pants but I notice that on some of mine (like the photo) the taping tends to fall pretty far forward/straight-on rather than at the exact side of the leg. Any idea what causes this? Pretty minor though.

2) Any chance you'll be restocking small sized of the varsity jacket? Also, what temperature would they be good up to? I live in Southern California shog[1].gif

3) Loopwheel tee sizing. It says it corresponds pretty nicely with the normal epaulet fit but the in the specs it looks like the medium loopwheel has the same chest/shoulder sizing as the small epaulet shirting. If the small loopwheel is any smaller than your normal shirting I'm not sure it's right for me - your smalls fit as if they were custom. Should I give it a shot or just buy other stuff instead?

Epaulet x OSC Cross Blackout Down Parka

Hey guys,

Most of you guys probably saw this in the newsletter yesterday. We're burning through them pretty quickly - about 18 of the 36 units are sold.

We've got a huge amount of copy on the item itself, but I'll tell you: if you live somewhere with a very cold winter, then this jacket will absolutely change your life. It's the best combo of fit, price, specs, and design out there. The shape is minimal and fits wonderfully. We blacked out all of the hardware and removed the exterior logos.

It's waterproof, down filled, machine washable, and has a lifetime warranty. I grabbed one of the stock jackets that we had last year and wore it straight through the entire NYC Winter. A lot of fashion brands will advertise jackets as being "super-warm" or "toasty." I get cold pretty easily, and I'm not the dude to wear a hoodie under a denim jacket under a leather jacket in February and nearly die of exposure. Take it from me: this thing is WARM.

Additional bonus: it's over a hundred dollars cheaper than last year due to the exchange rate:

Epaulet x OSC Cross Special Edition Blackout Parka: $595

Just ordered this. I got the Spiewak N3-B in 2012 and it bit the dust at the end of last winter (holes in pockets, zipper broke, buttons started falling off).  I'm thinking this one will last longer, especially considering the lifetime warranty.

@Badandy the taping should all be aligned after the first wash. The chinos are pressed side-to-side, and they're often not pressed exactly on the money, so the side seam twists to the front. Once that side crease softens, it should be all good.

And man, wish that we could get more Varsity Jackets, but there's just that single delivery this season. You might consider trying a Medium though - quite a few guys have sized up in it. The weight is pretty good for a SoCal winter, especially at night. I wore comparable stuff to this in Santa Monica.

@trig it found a good home earlier today to a thread contributor. Looking forward to seeing some shots from it.

@jimney thanks so much! Construction-wise, the Blackout parka is in a whole different world. I think that you'll be really pleased with it.

Hi Mike and Crew,

Just checking in about the overdyed olive Wilshires you mentioned a few months ago. Any sense of when they're coming in? Also, any other colors to watch out for? My black overdyes get lots of good use, so looking forward to more similar pairs.

Thanks for any info you can share!

Also wondering if other wilshires will be in anytime soon. Thanks!
