Hmm, that's odd. The online measurements say the Walt trousers in 34 have a 12.5" thigh, while the rivet chinos have a 12.75" thigh. Thanks for your advice though, because if the thighs really are smaller than the Walts a 34 chino won't fit me.

The rivet chinos fit a tad more snug in the waist. While the general consensus is to simply "size up one," being a 34 is a little tough because a 36 is noticibly larger in all dimensions. Because I am happy with other dimensions, I tend to get a 34 and have the waist let out around 1.5". YMMV.

I know my Snapseed+ photos aren't everyone's cup of tea in here, so I wanted to provide something useful. These are the NatCXL LWBs after 6 months of wear, care, Saphir Renovateur, and brushing. Hope it can help people out wanting to see how these age.

Alden x Epaulet Natural Chromexcel Longwing Blucher, at 6 months. Freshly MacMethod'd.

After yesterday's mini-monsoon in NYC, it was nice to have a relatively non-buckwild day of weather. We shot a couple of fit pics to celebrate:

I was always curious about the denim Walt and never seen anyone with outfit pictures. My size was on sale so I took it as a sign to buy. :embar:

Can anyone comment on the strength of the stitching on the ripstop pants? I just recently got my first pair of rivet chinos, and I love them, but the crotch seam has already split on the third day of (light) wear. I'm pretty dissapointed with that. Do the ripstop pants have tougher stitching as well as tougher fabric?

That seems odd, mine take a hell of a lot of abuse. I can't say Ive noticed a difference in my ripstops from the normal excellent construction. I'd send epaulet a PM.

Got in from the pub last night and almost bought a load of things in the sale that weren't quite my size. Thankfully I fell asleep and it's all gone this morning. I was just wondering though, if thats the last of the 7oz French Blue Ducks we'll see as I was gonna order another pair but you haven't had my size for a while?

Just purchased three rivets: mint distressed, french blue 7oz and brown ripstop. Awesome late night impulse buy.

Ooops - meant to post this here but started a new thread by accident....

Hey guys,

This next Friday we're going to announce our sale of the season: which is mostly discontinued fabrics and last pieces of past styles. We're rolling out the sale prices as we speak, and I want you guys to have first crack at everything. Here's the link:

EPAULET ODDS N' ENDS SALE

Please note that all discounted items are final sale and we'll be happy to answer any questions or help you find your size before you purchase.

SF usually gets first dibs.

I missed that completely, how long ago was it posted?

Can anyone tell me of their experience with moleskin pants? Thanks.

Look back several pages. Mike posted it yesterday. Don't be too sad though. Not like there was full size run on anything. Epaulet sells out at retail prices usually.

Given that you're from Atlanta, you might find them a little warm, even in winter. I'll only wear during my winter, and that's ten to twenty below zero, C or F, pick your scale. Having said that, from a tactile perspective, they're so damn sensuous!
