Gents-
If I am looking for a navy sportcoat that can be dressed up with trousers (grey/plaids/etc) and also with denim, what would you recommend? The Caine in Navy Hopsack?

I just bought the Napoli Navy Hopsack. Between the Caine and Napoli, I prefer and would recommend the Napoli. IMO, the Napoli's open patch pockets and the welt breast pocket allow it to be more casual than the Caine. The advantage being that, for me, it would look great with jeans, as well as lightweight casual summer clothes (madras, linen, white cotton, etc.) … but still quite dressy when paired with wool trousers, shirt and tie; or the matching trousers. The Caine has the advantage of looking dressier than the Napoli with the matching trousers. Just my 2¢.

Navy hopsack is the most versatile in terms of dressing up or down, and in terms of season. Like macjedi says, the Napoli is a touch more casual than the Caine, mostly just due to pocket configuration. I also have a Napoli navy hopsack, though, and wear it with trousers almost exclusively. I never feel like it's too casual. Really either the Napoli or Caine in navy hopsack would work well -- it just depends on your pocket configuration and shoulder preference.

Have to say that that tonal navy seersucker looks incredible.

I'm 6', 170 and I get called scrawny all the time.

When did orders for these become available? I have small feet so I would've jumped on it

I could be wrong but I don't remember them ever being on the site. I know there was talk here about a re-order and I simply emailed Mike and asked if I could get in on it. He sent over an invoice and BAM here we are hopefully getting these boots in the next week or so. The bad part is that the weather has changed (for the better I might add) so it'll be next fall before I can get some proper wearing out of these.

Yes, we were planning to email you about this. Carmina goofed with this and ended up shipping all of the European-bound shoes to us. They had a list of styles to pull, but something got miscommunicated in their warehouse.

We'll work with you though so that you're compensated for whatever import duties that you end up paying. We'll have to ship them to you from the USA though. My apologies for that.

Wow, not your fault, but that still sucks. Hopefully you or carmina will be able to provide sufficient documentation regarding origin etc when these ship. I'd hate for them to get stuck in customs for the rest of eternity. I'm just thinking out loud here, but seeing as carmina have the appropriate permits etc for importing reptile, might it not be best to return the goods to them for redistribution?

^Was at the shop today and tried to order a 38s. There's no more fabric, unfortunately.

There are only a few units in stock, so if anyone is a stock size and you're on the fence, I'd grab it quick. Pretty awesome jacket for this price.

Blaze Walts today, because my daughter pouted when I told her I wanted to wear jeans. "But daddy, I want to match you today!"

Rob, that's one of the cutest things I've ever read. Those blaze Walts look KILLER!

I'm going to proactively post more photos in here. I love seeing how all of you dudes wear our stuff.

Napoli FF Herringbone Hopsack (I know we only had enough for a few of these, but this fabric is PERFECT).

Crappy picture, I know, but here's the new leather jacket. I'll take it for a spin tomorrow.
