2nd this - the regular placket just seems too casual for a dress shirt to me.

I would like this too for the dressier fabrics. I'm glad the MTO shirts can be done without pockets.

Is Epaulet still going to do special order shirts? I want to get the blue and lavender gingham and the cobalt plaid. Or maybe these will be offered as MTO?

Mike,

Question about the Armoury jeans - how would they work for someone who takes a Rudy fit in other pants?

Size 32 Rudy's work well for me - the waist has to come in a bit, but seat and thighs are pretty much spot-on. The measurements for the Armoury jeans in 32 make me think they might work, but it would be great to hear from any Rudy-wearers who have tried the jeans.

Thanks,
Hal

We can also offer French cuffs if people are interested.

Oh definitely. You've got at least one person who would be interested for sure.

Gotta say the MTO option is really fantastic and I'm not surprised to hear there were a bunch of takers right off the bat.

But so is there a club collar buttondown sample you can show us? Or am I wrong in thinking that one image is of the Ashland version?

At the moment no, we took a few orders on the buttondown club, but this will be the first time that we produce it. Should be pretty straightforward though - they're just going to add small buttons to our existing club collar and position it for a subtle roll. Most of the special order shirts will be shipped directly to customers, but if we happen to get one with this collar (any international orders will come to our store first), then I'll definitely shoot it.

Possibly, you can drop us an email about it and Adele will be happy to check for you. We started the MTO program with fabrics that we're sure are in stock - or easily obtainable if they're out of stock.

We can order in-season fabrics for MTO's as well, but that depends on whether or not more cloth is remaining. We've had a lot of requests for things like big polka dots and speckled chambray, but those are sadly all gone. I'm pretty sure that we have cobalt plaid though. Figure that the MTO process adds about $15 to the base price of the shirt.

It's been a runaway success and we can't thank you guys enough! We'll work on building out the collection and layering in new fabrics as we receive them. Everyone at the factory is really jazzed about it too.

The shoes look great! They're aging really well. This is a nice example of how to wear a striped trouser as a separate piece too.

About 1-2 weeks. Woodland digi cam is confirmed for that shipment!

What is this digi cam you speak of? Is this a new print or a restock, Mike? I love camo prints! :embar:

It's a brand new one. Alas, it's not the same as the late, great double-faced digi cam. That's sadly long gone.

The new one is a different colorway of the grey digicam that we've run in the past. Woodland has stronger tones of green and olive - a bit like the exterior of the digicam that's pictured, but darker. Should be pretty fresh!

BTW, needed to fully quote this to show off the GONZO fading that Stanley has on those duck canvas Rivet Chinos. They look great!

Thanks!! I've been surprised that a non-denim fabric would age this way, but it's pretty fantastic. I wash these fairly regularly, even -- usually every 2 or 3 wears. The french blue color seems to be holding up really well too. Cold washing is definitely the way to go.

It's funny that this particular fit got very little love over in WAYWT -- just goes to show there are fairly different standards there and here (not making a value judgment either way, and I still think everyone should be posting there as well).

Any idea when shorts will hit the shelves or what fabrics/colors they'll be available in?
