This is a BR shirt.

I know Mike had one a while back similar, but I missed out.

I do need a navy belt.

The only thing I don't like about the Rancourt shell belt is it is narrow (1.25"), so it feels out of place casually.

I have a black CXL belt on from Rancourt.

I still may have to get the blue shell belt.

Agreed completely. I like 1.5" for casual wear.

Contact Dave Mitchell at Mitchell Leathers. He made me an insane 1.5" belt out of Dublin. He does amazing work. I doubt he has navy shell but he may have another blue leather. I highly recommend him. even blue suede I think would work with the outfit today

@Epaulet I love the Olmsted. I am not a fan of the Van last and have been clamoring for a ranger moc on Barrie for quite some time. Any chance of expanding that style? Here are two makeups I would love

  1. #8 shell cordovan w/ brass eyelets, flat welt, antique edge trim and double oiled waterloc sole
  2. Brown CXL w/ brass eyelets, reverse welt, antique or natural edge trim and commando sole (very similar to your Innsbruck but in shoe form)

the sizing on the site seems a bit a odd as they're 1/2 larger but it's adjusted for the US measurements (ex. a 9 is a 41.5 instead of a 42)? I went TTS so we'll see. at such an insane price I'm willing to gamble a little haha.

You went true to what size? The adjusted US size is the correct one. I am a size US9.5 and I bought the US9.5/EU42.

Burnt orange looks fantastic! I really regret passing on these. I have "too much" (not really) orange already though.

isn't orange a neutral color in SC?

Depends on who you ask haha. I'm wearing it today as I do every Friday. Clemson has a thing called "Solid Orange Friday" where fans are encouraged to wear orange to work, school, etc. on all Fridays. Looking forward to our big game tomorrow evening in Athens. I will be there.

Anyway, back to trying to narrow down a few items from the new drop. I'm thinking a few shirts, including the burnt orange button down and speckled chambray, and some grey tweed Rivets. Too many awesome options. : )

I hadn't noticed the houndstooth FF Rivets till just now. There are some killer fabrics there. My poor wallet...

Thanks Mike - that's good to hear. One more question ... Anything gnarly in kudu leather lined up for footwear this winter ....?

Great outfit - I regret not picking up the LBM1911 Flax Chinolino when I had the chance.

I went true to my US size, thankfully it looks like.

cheers.gif The trainers are very comfortable. I had been waiting and hoping for them to appear in the sales section.

These are great ideas, particularly the second.

Speaking as a Gamecock alum, it's definitely not a neutral color. ;-) good luck tomorrow. Hopefully one of the teams in SC can pull through this weekend.

Thanks, I appreciate it!  Going to be a tough one to win.  Rough game last night for your boys, but I'm sure they'll improve as the season goes along just like most of Spurrier's previous teams.

Mike/Matt,

How would you compare the Olmsted to the PTB? Was planning on picking up a pair of the PTB's, but now I'm torn between them and the Olmsted. Looking at the pictures, it strikes me that maybe the Olmsted is going to work better w/ jeans and casual chinos, but maybe not as well w/ the PTB w/ dressier trousers. Would you say that's a fair assessment?

Thanks.

Anybody has pics of the Scotchgrain Alt Wien? My size is available and I'm tempted? How's carmina Scotchgrain compared to Alden or AS?

Thanks,
