if it's not too late to weigh in on the favorite epaulet purchase, i think the new copper flannel wins for me. it's just an absolutely perfect fall shirt. i'll definitely pick up the plum is there's a restock in a large. and if there ever was to be an addition in something like a deep burgundy...
How are you cleaning the moleskins? Cold wash and hang dry or dry clean?
They look great, by the way. And sharp shoes too.
Ordered the moss twill Walts today. About 20 minutes later, I got a shipping confirmation. Just wanted to say thanks a lot for getting them out so fast in the midst of a crisis. Certainly not what I was expecting. Looking forward to my third pair of Epaulet trousers.
Hey mike, how nice looking is the fabric on your oxfords? I am looking at the point collar Royal and the cutaway collar (which I prefer) both in blue.i wear a medium. I am looking for a shirt for a wedding next weekend to wear with my navy 120s suit.
The pinpoint oxford fabric is pretty dressy, and cutaway collars, in my opinion, are the best option with suits.
With navy suits, I'm a fan of ginghams and tattersalls as well, and Epaulet's ginghams are done in great fabrics. If you click on the shirting area of the website, there's actually a "Dress" section with a bunch of options.

I am looking for a shirt for a wedding next weekend to wear with my navy 120s suit. I know that these are not technically the material used for dress shirts, but I want a blue shirt and your epaulet (not Ashland) shirts are the only shirts that i have ever run across that fit me pretty much perfectly without any tailoring and I will not have time to order and tailor a new shirt... It almost feels wrong as any otr shirt (or especially suit for that matter) SHOULD need tailoring!
If you do have any other epaulet shirt that you strongly recommend, I am all ears. Also, if I order this morning, are you shipping today? It is no big deal but if so I could order today instead of first thing Tuesday.
Also, are the 12oz olive rivets a pretty classic olive? I have been looking for a good not super dark olive casual pant for some time now.
Thanks for the help and I am glad to hear that you guys are all ok.
Glad you all made it through the storm. Wasn't nearly so bad down here in Philly. Hope things return to normal for you in NY soon.
Will there will be a restock on the olive moleskin trousers? Searched the question on here, found another person asking the question, but didn't find an answer. Can anyone weigh in? Missed them at first, and, by the time I noticed them on the site, they were mostly sold out. Tried the lovat moleskin on in the store and was impressed by the comfort of the fabric, but think that the olive might work better for fall/winter.
Were the Thorogood 685 boots a one-off thing, or will more sizes ever be restocked?
creasing. maybe too large. going to apply some Saphir Rénovateur shortly.
i like that they are not the typical 403/405 look.
