FOUR NEW ASHLAND SHIRTS
Hey guys,
A little while ago, I put together a "basic" Ashland program. My thinking was to establish a little collection of season-less fabrics that we can work to restock every season. We just got our first delivery, and they came out brilliant. I won't have fit pics until next week, but the shirts are online and available for purchase now. We used smoke MOP buttons on all of the styles, and each is made in brilliant Japanese cloth, and Gitman's best single-needle construction.
Ashland Button Down Blue Oxford: $150
I started out the opposite, first with the Rudy, didn't think I could fit into Rivets, then realized I just needed to size up one from the Rudy. Needless to say, I still have an addiction to both of them. However, if you start going crazy with the Factory Finds, the Rudy could become a very huge and expensive habit.
So if I am a 34 in the Rivet, is it safe to say I'd be a 34 in Rudy?
How do you size from Walt to Rivets? I'm a 32 in the Walts and am thinking 33 for Rivers because I have read that they shrink a bit. The Walts fit we'll in the waist but are a little tight in the thigh so the 33 Rivet seems to make sense by the numbers....thoughts? Thank-you for your advice. Great thread, great clothes.
You may be a 33 in Rudy. I wear a 33 in Rivets and fit a 32 Rudy.
