Hey guys, quick question. If I'm true 32" in waist, will rivet chinos is size 31 will be too tight?

thanks

Rivet chinos generally fit true to size but i guess you can let out the waist for the 31s. More important is whether your thighs and rise fit. Check your measurements.

thanks and I pulled the trigger on 31.

I am a true 32 as well. I would seriously consider calling and changing your order to a 32 in the rivets.

Well, I've picked in store pick up since I wanted to add more items before these will be shipped. I'll talk to the guys@Epaulet tomorrow and see my option. Size 32 is sold out in gunmetal.

Hello

in that case with the Rivet sizing

Sz waist
31 31.5
32 32.5
33 33.5

i will ask before to Epaulet what is better :
if there is room to enlarge a Sz 31 Or at the opposite take a 33 and make a little resize

For me if i have the choice i will choose the Sz 33 and make a resize by the man who it is the business (sorry i miss the english name). Here it will cost me 8€ around 10.5$

I think I would size up and then either try washing and drying once to shrink to fit (a little risky if you've never tried this before), or as suggested here take it to a tailor. They Rivets are designed to be worked on by a tailor and you can easily get the fit in the waist you need. I don't think you'll notice the difference in the rest of the measurements.

and next to LA. quick shot of what i wore to shul today. factory find wheat linen trousers and caine sport coat. a bit WASP-y, but what can you do. Ralph Lauren is Jewish. And it's always hottest in LA during the high holidays. Time for Epaulet to branch out to kippot and tallit? it would be big in brooklyn. actually, i think a CDG Play kippah would be pretty amazing. anyways, shana tova to the yids out there.

I second this. I got a pair of 33's and 34's recently. I liked the fit of the 33's better everywhere but the waist, so I kept those and had the waist let out, but the rise is too short and now I'm hating life when I wear them. I would go TTS if you can.

Not to mention the tassel loafers and the Repp tie.

Happy new year.
