I only buy stuff from Epaulet for the postcards and hand written notes they include with my orders. Although I will say that their handwriting has been getting progressively worse...

QFT. Adele used to oversee most of the shipping and she's got great penmanship. But she's doing less of that these days, and handwriting for the the rest of us guys pretty much goes from sloppy to insane.

Especially me. You'll know if I wrote the postcard if it resembles a doctor's prescription, written by a doctor who's intentionally using the wrong hand. Thank god for keyboards.

RE: Crappy penmanship. Mine actually "expires"....I need to neatly rewrite what I write down within a couple of hours or else even I won't be able to decipher it. :embar:

can epaulet declare international shipments as gifts?

If you're in Canada, most of the stuff is duty-free, I believe, under NAFTA. I have never paid duty on an epaulet shipment up here.

I'm in Asia, and customs are crazy here (30% or so), so really need to know whether packages can be marked as gifts

also, does epaulet use USPS for international shipments? planning to get some carmina boots :nodding:

I don't know if you equate duties and taxes but 4 out of 5 times I've been charged taxes (even for Epaulet shipments with goods that are Made in Canada).

Even marking things as gifts won't really solve the problem unless all indications of price are removed as well (i.e. price tag, invoice, etc.,) as those pesky customs officers will find a way to charge you.

^Those are most likely taxes (13 percent?), not duties. "The only things certain in life are death and taxes"

Yeah what I was trying to say was that although you don't have to pay duties you still need to pay taxes.

I am not, sir. The #8 shell screened by the grass is just your run of the mill 990. Parajumpers have yet to venture outside, but being broken in as I type. I'll put on some EP trousers with the PJs soon so I have an excuse to post them here...

Any plans to restock the moleskin Walts this season?

Seems like moleskin Rivets would be great too.
