Mike,

I'm trying to checkout with three chinos, the offerings that will end tonight. For some reason, it's not processing my card. Who can I reach out to?

EDIT: Fixed!

Too bad the Coffee G&L Twill in size 30 was sold out :(

Hi Mike,

I'm trying to nail down my choices for some MTO Rudy's in navy and khaki, but am having a hard time choosing which khaki to go with - G&L, English Sanded, etc. Would it be possible for you to post a photo with the different khaki cottons in the same shot for a color comparo?

Thanks,
Hal

@wj4, this was posted on IG and FB. Apart from what Mike said in his post here, I only know it's due in next month.

Hey guys,

Thanks for all of the feedback! I love being able to work with everyone so closely on this forum.

I hear you on all points. The sample that you saw is a few weeks old, and was done in a random sueded twill at the cutting house. We're going to rush through a new sample that will have a welt chest pocket and open patch hip pockets at the bottom. Close to the LBM 1911 shape, but with the 3-roll-2 front and the ability to close out the top lapels. We'll do that sample in G&L Military Twill Khaki. We have some fit tweaks to put through anyway before it's finalized, so we'll try to represent all of the options with this new sample. I'll post it up here once we have it in hand.

And in terms of sizes/lengths, we'll most likely roll this out like we did on the Doyle. The first OTR round will be size 36-42, even sizes only, regular length only. This is the majority of what we sell. Once that's out and we're sure that it's popular and guys like it, we'll work on offering odd sizing, extended sizing, and lengths. It probably won't happen in time to capture the cotton suit season, but I'll work to make sure that it happens for Fall.

In terms of Fall, I know that this jacket will work great in things like moleskin and corduroy, so that's going to be a definite. We'll test it out in wool. Its fully unstructured, so we'll have to see how it makes up. I imagine that normal suiting weight wool - like what we use on the Vittorio jacket - will probably be too thin to work. It takes a lot to get something like that to drape and roll properly without canvassing/fusing. But thicker goods, like a melton, a boiled wool, a tweed, a flannel, etc... should be just fine. We'll test everything out and see what sticks.

Definitely interested in these. Browns and greys!

Nice!

Is that the indigo overdye Doyle? How dark is it indoors? In direct sun?

How warm is it? (fabric weight is reportedly 14 oz; was looking at another workers jacket that was 10.5 oz)

@Epaulet

Mike,

Did you guys restock the G&L twill in Coffee over the weekend? The size 30 was unavailable to me yesterday (I'm pretty sure), but it's there now. Hope I can add it to my order if I pick up by EOD today.

And, idea for Doyle MTO color:

Coffee -- not a chocolate color and not on the tan/khaki side, but almost like a bronze tone.

Looking great.

Awesome jacket. I wear it at least once a week. Really looking forward to buying more sportscoats from Epaulet.

That's the black overdye and it is... black. smile.gif The indigo overdye I have on a different pair of Wilshires. Posted a photo the other day. That is definitely dark blue, but also very clearly blue in natural light or at a conversational distance in indoor light. At 14 oz to the canvas' 10 oz, the denim Doyle is definitely heavier and warmer for a cotton fabric. The weave is tighter on the denim as well.

Both of these loos are great but I prefer the dark Wilshire and Doyle look slightly. Is that a #8 boot with it?

Received my Naturale Linen walts. Great summer color. Almost as good as the pale grey hopsack.

Now time to order the pale yellow khyber, getting all my summer colors in.

As he is moving this week, be prepared to not get an immediate response. (He mentioned this)

You may have better luck with contact at epauletnewyork dot com, or call one of the stores.
