would love a pair of white trainers in sz12.. if the website doesn't show that size in stock, is it safe to assume the west coast shop doesn't have them?

Hey Mike - Last time I checked, the Japanese Camo Walts were out of stock in size 36 and there were no plans to remake them.

The web shop is now showing the 36 as in stock - is that a clerical error or should I get my credit card out? smile.gif

PROXY UPDATE 2:

EPAULET-SHIPPED-TO-YOU

GENTLEMEN: Thanks so much for all the orders so far. I've built out a giant spreadsheet to keep track of all the orders and my apologies to those who have to wait for a shipping quote, but I aim to get this all taken care of promptly. Everyone has been really great at following the instructions, so we are in great shape so far. Thanks for bearing with me while I go back and forth checking on availability, and I've only had one hiccup so far where we thought an item was there but it wasn't, and I caught it before the person paid. Given how hectic things may get, if anything does get screwed up, rest assured I will fix it or refund your money if somehow something gets sold off the shelf or whatever. But so far, no issues there.

Some more items for your consideration:

SPORT COATS

neither for sport, nor really a coat

Only a few left, but some prime choices in common sizes:

Napoli Navy Hopsack

Sizes 38, 40, 42

$325

Samuelsohn Bernard Sportcoat Loro Piana Rain System® Navy Hopsack

Size 40 only!

$475

Samuelsohn Bernard Sportcoat Multi-Fleck Navy Tweed

Size 42 only!

$475

L.B.M. 1911 Single Breasted Navy Glenplaid

Sizes 38 and 40

$350

NOT SPORT COATS

This is actually a briefcase:

Croots x Epaulet Tan Briefcase

One Size Fits All™

$400

Any updates on the feasibilty of an Epaulet by Luigi Bianchi Mantova MTO? Seeing those photos of LBM 1911 on sale in sizes I can't wear makes me anxious to know if a Epaulet by Luigi Bianchi Mantova, Vittorio Navy Pique Sportcoat in an MTO size might be possible! :)

Is there some assurance what you're proxying for will be available? From the detail in your post I got the impression you've claimed some of the inventory, or some of the inventory has already been claimed by others.  I live in the Bay Area, but will just so happen to be in Santa Monica Saturday morning, and was planning on being at the store right when it opened, but want to manage my expectations if the stuff is already being snapped up.  I'm a 40-42 sport coat size.

Someone should pick up that briefcase. I have some regret that I slept on the green version. I hope we see more Croots.

I was under the impression that nothing could be reserved and it was all on a first come first serve basis.

I think SVB is just writing the inventory that is currently available, and noting that he is already purchasing that item for someone should it be available on Saturday , so no one else should PM him asking about it.

Of course I could be misreading the whole thing and he does have items reserved. Haha

The grey Wilshires pair up nicely with navy shell cordovan (Viberg).

Wish the Sammy had patch pockets instead - too boring for me with flaps but a great price and probably the best overall deal out of all of them.

The blue fleck Samuelsohn is pretty interesting when you see it in person. And anyone in the market for a go to blue blazer cannot go wrong with the blue one. These are really nice jackets.

Two new Aldens just hit the website - a navy cxl shortwing blucher (Aberdeen last) and a navy suede captoe balmoral (Hampton last).  Thoughts?
