My FF Gitman just came and its arms are also quite a bit larger than the standard EP shirts I own. Chest feels large to me as well, and this is after a cold wash a short spin on the dryer.

Not super stoked w/ the fit, but the fabric is f'ing amazing (went w/ the madras). Oh well.

please get naturale linen. and then take pictures so i can see it, and then order it for myself.

epaulet: any chance for a cream wool walt? (like the pale yellow khyber, or the stone MTO rivet)

Agreed! A cream trouser would be perfect. I'd love to see what the pale yellow looks like in trouser form. It is hard to imagine just with the swatch.

This is a bit concerning, since the standard Epaulet Large is already on the slightly large side for me. I'm expecting my FF shirts today, so I guess we'll see. Perhaps a hot wash and frying them in the dryer would shrink them down a bit more?

You can dry the shirt for a bit, but I wouldn't "fry" it. That will quicky deteriorate the fabic as I've done that before. You can also mess up your neck area as well. The arms and chest are an easy fix, so you can just bring it to a tailor.

Just be aware that the construction of the shirt will be slightly differen since the tailor will have to run a new thread over the chest and arms.

Any word from their rep? I hope this is possible.

Haha, I won't do anything too drastic with the dryer. I think Mike had mentioned something about "frying" stuff in the dryer and I thought that was kind of a funny expression. Here's hoping that the shirt won't be unacceptably oversized compared to the previous EP fit.

Mike, I'm looking for some true dark navy chinos in size 28. Any plans for MTO Galey & Lord twill navy rivets? How does the navy khaki twill trouser compare?

My EP/Gitman MTO has the same issue, unfortunately. I was hoping to receive my first and then be able to order more, but will have to wait and see if this is normal. If it was on purpose and normal then even the minus 2 inches on the sleeves would still be too large (with the minus 1" sleeves on the current being way too big - almost seem longer than they would have been on a standard medium with no requested adjustments). I know it's already been brought up, and sorry to harp on the issue... just hoping this was an initial glitch as Gitman gets acclimated with the EP shirt patterns

Anyone know if the navy hopsack blazer MTO will ever come back? I didn't realize it was a limited time thing and then it disappeared...

I'm pretty sure it'll be back. Mike mentioned the limited stock of hopsack right now or something but that it'll come back and that the hopsacks are slightly increasing in price as well? It's somewhere in this thread.

Thanks, somehow I missed that. Good to know it should be back at some point.

I got the chance to wear my new Gitman/Epaulet MTO shirts and they are fantastic, especially in terms of length, which has been a somewhat limiting factor for me in the past with Epaulet shirts. Then again, I'm 6'4" with long arms and a long torso, so I will be keeping fingers crossed that the fit is consistent in future orders.

How did the length differ for you with the MTO shirts? Isn't the pattern the same epaulet one as other epaulet shirts? I am a little over 6'3 with really long arms and a 46-48 inch chest, so I ended up not ordering one due to sleeve length and the largest size being I think smaller than 46-48 inches in the chest.
