My jeans did manage to make it here yesterday. The quality is great, as expected, but unfortunately they're going back. I'm typically a Rudy guy but do have a few rivets that do fit. The Wiltshire is just too slim for me, and I don't think the stretch will be enough. Now the dilemma is to try to size of or wait to see if the Bond fit ends up being developed.

Went for a walk in the woods today with a friend, wore my Eisenhower jacket which I absolutely love - if you want one and have been on the fence, pull the trigger!

It's weird, the actual tracking information hasn't updated since Dec 22, and it just says depart USPS sort facility in LA, and no new updates since then. I'm sure USPS is slammed this time of year, but it's weird that it was shipped 2-day priority mail and hasn't shown any updates in the past 2 days.

beatle, what size did you end up going with? i thought you were holding out for the bond fit bc you typically wear rudys?

just asking bc im in a similar position to you and curious what pushed you over the edge to pull the trigger

I'm getting close to buying one of these Parkas. Can someone convince me that the Epaulet version is worth the extra price over the Japanese-market Spiewak Golden Fleece version?

edit: ALso is the epaulet version also guaranteed to -40 below?

Yep, I'm mainly a Rudy guy, but I usually wear jeans tighter than my other pants, so I figured I'd give these a shot. I went with size 34 - I usually wear a 34 Rudy with the waist taken in a smidge in all my wool trousers. If the Wilshire is too tight, I'll just return them and wait for the Bond fit.
