Wow. Perfection. The chelsea boots work so well with a more casual suit and the suit itself is about as perfectly tailored as I have ever seen "in the wild." The overlapping ticket pocket is a nice touch, is that some maker's signature detail that I am just not cool enough to recognize?

PS- I'm jealous that you get enough stuff from EP that you can recognize all the guys' handwriting.
Thanks!

Epaulet is one of my favorite brands. smile.gif

Note that I already own a pair of hopsack-like trousers.  I love Nightshade, but it's sold out in my size, and I'm weary that they might be too warm for my tastes (I tend to sweat easily).
I have them all...from linen to the heavyweight tweeds. I don't sweat easily though, on the contrary...I get cold easily. I'm one of the few crazies that wear topcoats in LA, lol.

Thanks. I'm still young (I guess). I will be turning 28 in a couple of weeks so I still like to wear goofy stuff on the weekends. Plus, I work in a 'business casual' ambiance...show up in a 3 piece suit or a polo and chinos will work.

Broke out these bad boys for the first time today:

^ Great shoes and a killer look.  Last two suits have great fit and cut.

Hey guys, I'm about to grab a few of the new Walts.  Any recommendations on the Olive Tree tweeds versus the Mocha flannel?  I really like both.

^ I'm thinking of grabbing the olive tree tweed as well. I'm still holding out for some Vass group MTOs to go up so I can take advantage of the 15% discount that was offered. Will those be up anytime soon, or am I better off just ordering the pants now before they sell out?

Beatlegeuse - If you're considering the tweeds and live in Tampa (per your info), then that makes me feel better about grabbing tweeds for SC weather.  I'm definitely going to grab the sandy orange, so I'm trying to decide whether to get more than one pair of tweeds or stick to the flannels for the rest.

Yup I'm in Tampa, and tweeds work fine for me in winter. I'm mainly in a climate controlled office most of the day while I'm wearing them, so I shouldn't have a problem wearing them in the weather down here. And, it will be cool enough in the morning going to work and in the evening leaving work.

Same here re working inside, so I may choose the olive tree.  Still not sure though.

I was torn between those two as well. I just called in my order for Mocha a minute ago. Very excited, but sad I won't get to see them for 6 weeks!

Mixing bizness with leather. That thing fits you perfectly.

We've got moleskins in the next delivery, but no ironwood restocks. There's a bit of fabric remaining which is mostly getting zapped for Rudy orders. If you want a special order Walt then drop us a line and we'll get on it.

Thanks for pointing this out - you know, it never actually occurred to me to look for a US-made steamer. This looks really fantastic and definitely seems worth the extra cash:

We've used the cheapo Conairs for years without issue, but this looks like a great option for someone who wants a higher end and domestically made piece. Good call!
