I received my Smiths denim in today. I bought a 34 and the waist fits perfectly, but, the top block is a bit snug right now. I do believe once i wear them consistently they will fit perfectly. The denim is great and the overall fit is good, great job Mike...

We should get them around the end of the month. They were originally scheduled for next week, but things got a bit backed up. We'll get a smooth brown leather ranger boot and an absolutely insane Loden Shell Cordovan penny loafter.

Thanks

Unfortunately, I'm not planning to restock that. Our original specs were 35.5-36" for all inseams. The 34" inseam was actually the result of a cutting mistake. Our next round of Smiths will be all the longer length.

Awesome - thanks for your order! There's no real shrinkage issue with the chinos. If you like, you can certainly run them through the wash once, that's always a good idea before alterations on cotton washable garments.

Thanks for your order! The denim will definitely soften and break in with some wear. Just as a heads-up - they'll feel REALLY smaller after the first wash, and will take an hour or so to break back to their original size. Appreciate it!

Customer testimonial: x2 Wash with confidence. These are great chinos out of the box, and will treat you well even after a washing. Cold cycle, hang dry, tailor to fit, RAWK. Mike is gospel.

Or don't hem and cuff. Double cuff on no-sock days, which are most days now. The white herringbone detail down the side is very nice indeed.

Are you still going to get in the Brixton boot in ravello shell? It certainly looks great in black. (I haven't been to Brixton in years, fond memories if a little blurry.)

Awesome, what color is the hardware going to be on the olive jacket?

I just wanted to put up a post to thank Mike for taking the time to help me out in the store yesterday evening. I'm excited to get some wear in on those new Longwings! Hi, Mike! <waves>

Yes, we've got 24 units of Ravello on order. Hard to say when they'll come in, but it should be sometime between now and November

Good question, I actually left that up to Vanson to decide. I'm thinking that they probably went with the same antiqued brass as the front zipper.

Hello, I had a question about my latest purchase, the purple gingham in XS. I've emailed you the question and photos. Could you please check it when you get the chance? (I'm assuming you know my corresponding email by now) Thanks!

Man, those longwings are one of the few things I still vividly remember handling while I was in NY. They felt substantial enough to fill in as the blunt object from Lamb to the Slaughter, except I don't know how well Aldens would cook.

Any jeans planned for fall? Looking to buy another pair.

Has anybody purchased the Kelly Green Cords?
What are you pairing them up with?
^^ I have a pair. So far, white V-Neck fitted tee and solid white low profile sneakers. Red/Blue plaid shirt and dark brown boots (not as crazy as it sounds), a chocolate brown leather bomber jacket, pale blue club collar, white club collar, brown sneakers... Mostly I quite like the white white tee/white sneakers and maybe the brown bomber on top if it's cold. Note: You can't tone them down. They are bright. Very bright.

Outside of that, I'll also have sportcoats from Gant by Michael Bastian, Our Legacy, and Scotch & Soda. They should start arriving within the next few weeks.

And I'm completely anal about jacket and sportcoat fits. I've personally tried on every single jacket that we have coming in. Everything fits relative to our shirting and will have the proper slim cuts, slim sleeves, high armholes that our customers are used to.

Awesome. Any insight on the colors and textures being offered?

Any plans for a slightly longer length hoyt? I luuurrve mine but would probably lurv more with an extra inch or two on the inseam. Fit so good now I'm scared to soak them.
