I ran these through a wash/dry cycle to get any shrinkage out before their trip to the tailor. While they shrank a bit in length, the overall fit in the waist stayed the same.

Regarding duck canvas fabric - can I expect the same results (very little shrinkage after wash/dry) if I went with the same size as the twill?

Someone just asked this the other day, I ran my duck rivets through a cold wash / low heat dry, and lost over an inch in the length, but there was minimal shrinkage in the rest of the garment. I still had to get the waist tailored - the waist on a size 34 fits me really well, but I special ordered a 35 because I wanted a little more room in the thighs and seat.

I purchased my first pair of Epaulet pants about a two months ago. Now I have six pair. That seems to be the way it works. In regards to shrinking I found that on the regimental twill I lost some in the overall length but only a tad in the waist. On the Duck Canvas I saw almost no noticeable shrinkage in either the waist or the length so I think you'll be fine if you went the same size.

Sure thing. Our Samuelsohn jackets should largely fall in the $900 to $1200 range. Most of the fabrics that I bought for Fall are pretty luxe, so that we can take full advantage of that no-tax-on-fabric-in Canada thing.

I think that the solid cashmere coats will be about $1200, the Loro Piana hopsack a bit less than that, and a GORGEOUS cashmere tonal glenplaid for a bit more than that. But we'll have all sorts of options for MTO above and beyond this.

I don't anticipate any factory finds with them anytime soon, as we're just starting out this season. But hopefully it's something that we can do in the future. It's going to be an excellent compliment to our Southwick collection. Much like Carmina and Vass, both brands have their strengths. Southwick makes a great coat and offers one of the best values available anywhere. Samuelsohn is a step above that in hand-work and materials, and the pricing reflects it. It's going to be a great resource.

Thank you sir! You'll absolutely love the duck canvas Walts. You can expect about the same results after your wash. One thing to note is that the duck canvas will fade significantly with a lot of washing. Most guys really like this effect (and ask me how to accelerate it), but if you prefer the clean, uniform color that the fabric has when it's new, then you'll want to dry clean them.

Haha, very cool. It's not everyday that you see a dress shirt matched up with jean shorts, but you're pulling it off nod[1].gif

Received my brown houndstooth Slim Walt trousers and I can already tell they're going to be a favorite. Very versatile and subtle pattern.

Now to decide on the next pair... smile.gif

Maybe a mid grey nailhead or herringbone.

haha...I get the same feeling every time after receiving something from epaulet. It's like you love the current item, but you also want another item asap.

I got an email with a tracking # for mine, but I checked the UPS website and they haven't actually gone out yet. I'm hoping the tracking status is updated today smile.gif

Excited to see Epaulet expanding, sad to see Mike and Adel leaving Brooklyn. Oh so close to going after one of the FF jackets, might need to swing by a store and see the swatches in person!

Hey can anyone tell me if Epaulet is closed for the holiday? I walked by the Manhattan store and it was closed and neither stores answered their phones. Sorry if this has been previously covered. Will be in Brooklyn tomorrow so hopefully they are open since I'm attempting my maiden Epaulet in person voyage.
