Rudy's are by special order only, but we have a full run of try-on pairs at the Manhattan shop. And if you come by the store, you can see all of the fabrics in person. At any given time, we're generally able to offer about 85% of the Walt fabrics for Rudy makeups.

Excellent, thanks!  I'd just be looking for a couple staples, so that works out perfectly.  I'll look forward to dropping by.

By any chance, does that mean I could email in an order now in one of the more common Walt fabrics and pick it up in person once I've moved in?  Or should I just wait for another Rudy window?  No pressure here again!

I don't believe that they've used this combination before. I reordered the Color 8 ones with a quickness, and we'll get them in Burnished Tan Calf as well. Thinking about layering in an Alpine Grain. We're all really stoked - and me in particular - that the Alt Wien shape has proven to be so popular with our customers. I've loved this style for years, and we're going to release a bunch of different takes on it.

Any chance of a Leydon last version? Love love love my Natty CXL LWBs.

Very excited that Epaulet is becoming a regular Vass stockist and that we'll be able to do group and individual MTOs! Looking forward to seeing the first delivery in September.

+1. I just ordered my first pair of EGs and have been looking at getting into the Vass game as well. Can't wait to see what Mike and Co. have in store for us.

In other news, I was browsing the site looking to buy a birthday present for myself and I noticed that the dove grey hopsack pants are $220 when viewing them from the main trouser page, and $225 when you click on the link. I'm hardly one to quibble over $5 but I figured it was worth bringing to you guys attention.

Just got my third pair of pants from Epaulet in as many weeks, right after finding this thread.  So far I have been very happy - Burgundy Hopsack Walts, Blue Irish Linen, and now the Nori.  The two I've received have a versatile look and are very well constructed.  I'm a happy dude.

Can someone help with Carmina sizing?  I wear an 11D US.  The AE 5-65 last is a perfect fit for me.  I know all lasts are different, but I need to start somewhere.  Any initial suggestions?

I appreciate any help.

Just picked up my navy hopsack walts to go with my navy hopsack jacket - man, I could not be happier. Absolutely top notch construction and the fit is incredible. I'll have a Napoli suit fit pick on Wednesday when im back home! Easily the best fitting suit I"ve ever put on.

Beez...it depends on the last I think. But for most I size down a full size to the UK size from my 9.5D Braddock fit, I'm an 8.5D Carmina in the Forest, Rain, Inca and Queens. I've no experience with the Simpson. Hope that helps!

That's been my experience too. I only need a half size down in the Simpson though. YMMV

I'm an 11D, a little in the wide side. I wear 10.5uk wide or 11uk regular in the Forest last. 11 in Queens and Soller. You may want to try a 10.5uk to start.

My Brannock size is 9D. I take a 9D on the AE 5-last. For Carmina Rain, Forest, & Inca lasts, I take UK8. I would say that the Forest last is most similar to the 5-last for me, as both are just a touch big but works nicely once I tighten the laces (no heel slippage). The Rain last is close to a perfect fit for me. Not tight but no looseness either (except for my pair of Rain lasted single monks, which is a tad loose).

Hi Everyone, I have a little PSA for you.

First, I want to get it out there that I own 7 epaulet shirts - including 4 from the late-great MTO program. I'm really glad I found epaulet, the shirts are as good as it gets.

Now, the PSA: Be mindful when ordering the denim point collar workshirt. Yes, the shirt is awesome! The fabric is outstanding, and the build quality is top-notch. I ordered up a size so I could wear it as a light overshirt. It worked out perfectly, until I washed it. I washed it cold/cold and line dried (that's how I wash everything). The shirt lost just under 3/4" in sleeve length between the sleeves actually shrinking (-.5") and the shoulders tightening up. I also lost nearly 3/4" in overall shirt length. I'm really bummed. frown.gif

Anyway, just be aware when ordering this shirt that it will shrink.

Interesting. Anyone else experienced this?

Just picked up my denim point collar and plan to wash cold and hang dry.

I don't have that particular denim shirt. I have the green FF one. The only thing I noticed is the denim material being softer after washing.
