Will these babies ever be back in stock in 32, 33 or 34?

Yeah, once I got the Keaton blazer for my wife, she started to understand my obsession a little bit better smile.gif

OK, I'm back to my usual Rudy decision time and I need some help again....I will probably get 2 pairs this time, thinking of the navy linen (it's super hot and humid here now, I desperately need a good pair of linen pants) and the grey hopsack, since I need a staple year-round grey trouser. Makes the most sense for what I need, but should I go for something like the Nori tropical since it won't be around as long?

Something tells me I should only buy what I absolutely need, stick to staples for now, and then branch out later. Maybe the Nori will be gone by then, but there might be something else just as unique coming out.

Welcome to my world. I have 5 pairs of pants from epaulet (miscounted earlier) and none of them are quite normal pants. The closest are the green ones I picked up. Was going to get the chocolate nailhead but for the hounds tooth instead.

I still need a staple or two but I like opening the box and seeing exotic pants. I fear the only way I would order a staple is if I order it alongside two crazy pants. Maybe the burgundy, brown and grey on the next order.

I'm of two minds on the trouser dilemma. I would like to get something that I can't get from another company and that will not be around for long. On the other hand, I would like to get something that I will wear often. I think the burgundy hopsack and the nori are sufficiently versatile to satisfy both desires.

My Nori Tropical is coming back from the tailors in 6 days. Can't wait. It's a great color, I think I can wear it with anything darker. Brown, Burgundy, even Snuff Suede. I'll take a fit pic if you wish when I get them.

I'm more excited for the Houndstooth that I just saw like eight pictures of. I saw that pattern over in the HOF thread and was wondering where to get it. I had no idea it was my favorite online pants retailer.. which is why I instantly ordered a pair.

Good to hear about the Nori - just ordered them yesterday.

As soon as that brown houndstooth is restocked in 32 I'm on it too. Great pattern.

I'm a 33 so I just order 32, 33 or 34 and get them altered to fit. I've got the Blackwatch in 34 with the waist altered and it's my best fitting pants. I've got all others in 33 and they've got a weird fold on the sides. So I sized up to 34 for the Houndstooth, hopefully it'll fit well again.

ETA, if you want them now, they have 33 in stock.. just get that and alter them.

Sounds like my closet as well - I have 10 pair of EP trousers (just counting Rudys, there's more if I include Rivets as well), and a lot of them are are crazy-ish, including grey windowpane, black tartan, charcoal glen plaid, etc. even though the grey hopsack will probably be around for a while, I think I need to pick it up just to have that perfect grey odd trouser that everyone needs.

Good argument for the Nori and Burgundy as well, wish I could buy all of them. FirstWorldProblems.

FF RCs arrived today. Colorful Madras and clay cotton/cashmere. Madras colors are great and the cotton/cashmere fabric is very lightweight and has a beautiful hand. Size 35 seems as if it is just about the perfect fit for me. Great to be order in this odd size via Factory Finds.
