Hi Mike or Matt, I assume this info would be useful to others, so I post the question here.

Does choosing "Short" for the MTO jacket makes both body lenght AND sleeve length 1'' shorter than "Regular"? On top of that if I choose 1" shorter sleeve length, that will make it total 2" shorter than the regular sleeve length, correct?

Thank you!

Thanks for asking. The length modifications on the body and sleeve are separate. So you can choose a short body and regular sleeves - thereby only making the body shorter. Both of the options are independent.

Yes, we were planning to email you about this. Carmina goofed with this and ended up shipping all of the European-bound shoes to us. They had a list of styles to pull, but something got miscommunicated in their warehouse.

We'll work with you though so that you're compensated for whatever import duties that you end up paying. We'll have to ship them to you from the USA though. My apologies for that.

Thanks.

Chambray for shirts or jackets? We're definitely planning additional shirting fabrics. For jackets, we won't have a refresh until the Fall, and that's going to be largely flannels and tweeds.

And LBM only produces "regular" jackets - at least for the USA. The body is a little cropped, but that's the style and it works for most guys. However if you're tall, then they're going to be too short, especially if you wear a smaller size. But our Southwick jackets can be made into Longs or Xtra longs. We've done a ton of those.

i lost my well-used Polo Quilted Blue Richmond Jacket on a recent flight. it was this. any recommended alternatives?
like this

2) MTO Blazer Advice- i am looking for something to wear to work for the summer. have blue wool and this thing. looking for something else.

3) Cotton Walt Size - purchased 2 cotton walts. didnt wash them yet. do they run true-to-size? size 32 waist. they feel tight pre-wash.

thanks

That Polo jacket is a cool piece. The closest thing that we carry to that is the Veneto jacket, but that's an entirely different vibe. If you really dig the polo piece than perhaps getting another one of those or checking out a quilted piece from Barbour might be the best option.

For the MTO blazer, check out this one. Might be nice to get a pattern, and this is tonal and very wearable:

Southwick MTO Italian Blue Prince of Wales Sportcoat: $850

Your cotton walts run pretty true to size. Washing won't shrink the waist, but it will shrink the length by about a half inch. You can expect them to stretch a bit with some break-in. If they feel uncomfortably tight, then I'd advise swapping them out for 33's.

Didn't get to the LES tonight until after close but I walked by the shop and peeked the Caramel Duck Canvas sportcoat displayed in the window. It looks awesome! It will be mine ;)

How about some chambray options for pants? Would love to see a grey/gunmetal color.

Mike/Matt-

Do you guys think there will be difficulty sourcing the Cognac shell for you planned fall restock of the Anderson? I am thinking of maybe doing an MTO if it is still available now and may not be for the fall...would also love to see this on the commando sole...

If you are confident it will be available then I will try to be patient...and put the savings toward some more Rudy pants...

Gents-
If I am looking for a navy sportcoat that can be dressed up with trousers (grey/plaids/etc) and also with denim, what would you recommend? The Caine in Navy Hopsack?
