Sorry about the Barca experience O. I remember being a late teenager living in Paris and nearly kicking the shit out of a guy on the Metro who had his hand near my pocket. They were everywhere in Paris.

Anyway, today is a day night affair, and experimenting with a new collar from my tailor (Carmina Shell Fitzs):

This evening took my kids to the dentist:

Came home to 2 pairs of Regiment Twill Walts and 2 button down shirts. What a great start to the week! biggrin.gif

Also Frank, excellent as others have said.

Thanks, gents. I was pretty happy all around with that ensemble.

Also what do you guys think, grey merino side tabs or the grey hopsack? I need some more grey trousers in my life.

I just got back from 3 weeks in Spain and England. Good times. Here are a couple pics -- out before dinner in Bilbao (air force flannels pants, Caine sport coat, Hawthorne Carmina loafers) and one of two pair of Carminas I bought in Spain with the air force flannels (I found the caramel calf double monks on sale so had to jump on those, and have been wanting a pair of black monks too). I had a bunch of shit stolen in Barcelona so only iPhone pics. If you want to see the travel pics you can take a look on my instagram (rus_in_urbe).

The Brooklyn hat he's got on is USA made, I believe. Odds of a BK Nets hat being made here? smile.gif

I was telling a guy who lives in Brooklyn (I'm in Minnesota)
about Epaulet today!

Wow, some people need to get out more!

^ Brooklyn's huge, I never heard of Epaulet until I discovered StyleForum after I left the borough :P

Gotcha. I didn't know he only wore USA made items.

Is that a Caine in hopsack you're wearing? I'm wondering if I could wear it with the airforce flannels I already have since the texture is quite different on them.

As for the dove gingham, I definitely saw it earlier in the dropdown. It may have sold out.

thanks. Yeah be careful in Barca -- it is one of the biggest cities for pickpocketing and having stuff stolen. I thought I was but obviously not enough. But also it can just be bad luck. It's otherwise a very cool place.

It is the Caine hopsack. I think it goes well with the air force flannels as they are light enough in color and have enough grey and other colors in them to contrast well enough with the navy hopsack. Texture wise I think it is ok too. You can see the same basic outfit I was wearing here from the before / after contest.

Thanks for posting - this seems to be a good ensemble indeed.

By the way, what's the best method to get a sharp crease out of the canvassing? Thinking a tailor (top right of the jacket, near the shoulder)

Jacket doesn't seem to fit that well, is it your posture causing the bowing out of the lapels?

Where's the suit from Wisith?
