Hello all,
I just received 3 pair of Epaulet trousers from the recent sale. The fit is spot on in the waist. All the trousers are 100% cotton (2 pair of the regimental twill and 1 pair of sanded canvas). Do you guys wash these at home or do you get them dry cleaned like the tag says? I do not want them to shrink at all if I can help it. Thanks!

I don't dry clean my cotton Epaulet trousers. Cold wash and hang dry is the general rule with these. I don't think you'll get any shrinking with a cold wash, but maybe try one and see how the fit is to make sure you are still happy with it.

Thank you so much for pointing this out. I had my eye on the scarlet linen Walts for a bit later in the season but then they disappeared from the regular store. I wasn't really looking forward to special-ordering them. Now they show up on sale! icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

A little sad the only option on knit ties is pointed. I was really excited when I first saw them. I like the flat end, it makes it stand out even more.

Question on Luchino polos. How tall is your model in photos and what size he is wearing in those.
Thank you.

IME, they do indeed shrink about 1/2" in length, and perhaps 1/4" overall in the waist/seat, but that much is so minimal as to not cause an issue--but I highly recommend washing them once before any tailoring. I made the mistake of forgetting to do this once w/ some regiment twill Walts and it was a bummer.

All of our cotton trousers are fully machine washable. I would concur with oboy that the Regiment Twill will shrink between 1/4" and 1/2". I've never gotten shrinkage on the UK sanded canvas, but you could certainly machine wash it once.

For the Italian knits, we wanted to do something a little different than what you can find everywhere. We have a few square end options from the German knits though.

Thank you.

Dylan is 6'1" and he's wearing a size small. The polos match up to our woven shirts very well, just make sure to size one down from your Epaulet dress/sport shirt size.

Oh my gosh, I just got my summer weight Navy Walt's from the sale section for $75 size 35. They are fucking perfect. Sorry for the sharp tongue, but Im so impressed. I have a pair of green donegal Rudy's in size 34, and a pair of grey walts in 36. The rudy's were amazing, the 36 walts were okay. These 35 walts are just perfect throughout the whole leg. They're ever so slightly loose in the waist but not enough to get them taken in just yet.

The fabric is so light but feels so perfect and soft. and the colour is such a rich navy that would never be mistaken for black but is definitely formal enough.

I really feel like I stole these at $75. Definitely gonna cuff them 2" so the lightweight nature of them produces a sturdy enough drape. otherwise i'd post photos.
