It should hold a crease just fine. And hopsack will have the additional benefit of making up a pretty tough and dry-cleaning-resistant trouser.
The hopsack suits that I've seen are mostly from the 70's, as getting a textured suit was the thing those days. But done in the Caine/Walt combo, slim and modern, I think that it would look very cool.

I would be on board for this. Hopsack pants and a waistcoat would make a stylin' 3 piece suit.

Just ordered my first Epaulet shirt...don't know why you guys are sleeping on the Fair Isle shirt in the sale section, one of the things I asked to see, great fabric. Also ordered the Natty Chrmxl belt to go along with my AldenxSE boots coming in the mail. Mike, can I grab these items in store today or tomorrow? I can get to Orchard St today I think, or Smith tomorrow.

I would jump on the Fair Isle if they had XL. Then again, I should check my closet to make sure I don't already own it...

One of my first bespoke rigs was a hopsack 3 piece in a dove grey. I love the **** outta that suit. Mike, I'll def be kopping a blue and caramel in the Mighty Duck, can't wait. Glad its not thursday, thats my late day at work and I was afraid I'd miss out on my size. Quack!

Got some more photos to show!
You can see the Duck Canvas texture in the second pic. It's a little heavier, a little more coarse, and a little of a bigger weave than the standard canvas that we use. These guys will break in gorgeously with wear.

So ridiculously glad I check this thread periodically. You have a new customer as soon as these drop :slayer:

How much is the shirt going to be?

If the EP x Staple Design Chino was too small for me in waist and thigh in a sz 30, should I order the new duck canvas Rivet or new Walts in the same size or in a sz 31 instead? I want to get the sizing right before I spend some major dough on a few pairs of each.

Thanks in advance.

Any chance your Staple 30 is up for sale? I'm normally a 29, so I'm thinking that would be perfect... the 28s up for the sale on the website have been so tempting, even though I'm pretty sure there's no way they could work.

I wear a 33 in the Rudy and had to size up to 34 for the Rivet chinos because the thigh was too tight on me in the 33. I have multiple pic posts in this thread, mostly wearing the Rudy size 33, but I think in the most recent one I'm wearing the British khaki chinos in size 34. I can't repost the pics now from my iPhone, but if you checked my posts I this thread you should be able to find them

Question - I was all set having ordered the madras shirt in M yesterday (or day before), but was informed that it was out of inventory. The website accurately reflects that now. Any visibility on when it might be available again?
