Alden also brought out some new samples for the show. I really dig this Van-last boot with a handsewn moc. They made it up in both a 9-eye and a 7-eye model. And good lord, that loden suede is sharp:

They've also got a new chromexcel PTB. The weight on the leather is heavy enough to make the shoe unlined in the toe. It's a nice touch which really slims up the profile:

Mike, any chance you will be selling these this year?  Love that Plaza last Loden suede boot

Could you post up measurements that match what Epaulet posts? I was afraid to do it since my 36s tend to be tight in the thigh when I am sitting.

Thanks!

Again, I'll be happy to, assuming I remember when these trousers come in in 4 or 5 weeks. I probably will since I'm very interested in how the 35s will fit myself. Other wild card will be my ability to measure accurately. smile.gif

I got the Rudys in 35 myself, very excited to see how they will work out!

You got the Navy micro-stripe in a special order?! Nice! I placed a special order about 3 weeks ago and that one wasn't an option :(

So awesome that the pinpoint oxford looks to be part of the Epaulet shirt MTO program.

Would be terrific if the sleeve length adjustments could be made in half-inch increments, too...

Among the barrage of questions: If you change the collar size, is that going to impact the rest of the measurements? For instance, is a size medium with a 15" collar (1" smaller than normal) going to fit differently elsewhere, like the shoulders or the sleeves?
The other off the rack suiting option that we'll have is the grey merino cloth that matches up with these trousers.

Slim Walt Trouser Grey Merino Wool Side-Tab: $195

We're about six weeks away on that.
Mike, any updates you can share? What are you planning for the jacket?

Thanks, AHS

Can we have a preview of any new Rivet Chino colors coming?

So....an Epaulet large fit me almost perfectly, except that the collar was a full inch too big. I'm in trouble with this MTO business...

What's the name of the Manhattan tailor Epaulet recommends for alterations?

The Orchard Tailor Service is the place Mike sent me to get my trousers hemmed after I bought 'em from the Manhattan store.  I just walked across the street from Epaulet, dropped 'em off, then picked 'em back up about an hour later.

I have those, they're brighter than the stock photos suggest, probably around a mid green in sunlight. Goes well with gray and cream, maybe brown.
