That tie is total killer NYI, is that one of your own?

I believe it's a Maker's Edition 10oz One Wash Denim from NYI...

I own several pairs of Aldens and like them quite a bit, but in my personal opinion, Carminas are at a higher level of craftmanship.

Had not even considered this model until now. These look really great. Thanks for posting.

Thanks FC - most of my wardrobe is more muted, but some of my wife's fashion choices of late have me sucked into modern colorblocking. Can feel myself swinging back towards bold(er) colors.

The main reason I chose these over the Aldens were because the Carmina came with the Dainite sole.

I also agree that the craftsmenship on the Carminas appear to be at a higher level than the Aldens.

Here's a PIC of mine.

They are definitely darker than the Aldens.

Very nice. Do you have any action photos of those? I'm wondering if I can wear those with a suit on rainy days or if they just don't look "dressy" enough...

No action photos, sorry.

But I don't see why you couldn't wear these with a suit.

Correcto.

Red, khaki, and light gray. Dropped them off at the dry cleaner's. Will have 2" cuffs installed on Friday.

Hi folks,

Just received my first pair of epaulet pants today, plum duck canvas rivet chinos. Absolutely beautiful but I'm concerned about the integrity of the buttons on the fly. Which brings me to ask, has anyone had any issues with buttons coming off?

I have those and they are fantastic, super-warm and with a gorgeous texture. Wore them out in the snow too, couldn't be happier.

No issue with any of my rivets. Built like tanks.

I only have two pair of Rivets so far and haven't had them for long but yeah, my initial impression was the buttons were "wobbly" for lack of a better word. But they seemed to be attached really well, I'd imagine this design was on purpose to let them have some give/stretch so they won't pop off under pressure. I dunno, it's early and I'm probably talking outta my ass here  crazy.gif
