Natty CXL Brixtons today

Sloppy cut and paste but none the less my first epaulet shirt (lavender oxford) in small. I am 5'11 155 pound for reference and this shirt is definitely slim (or maybe I am not adjusted to a real shirt). The cloudy day and camera do not do the color on the fit pic justice.

Fit looks good stationary. I like that fabric. How's the shirt feel as you move around? Enjoy!

chest looks clingy, dude. I'd try a size up and see how that goes.

I'd size up, too. Too tight.

I'd probably size up, there is some stress around the back and a bit on the chest.

Thanks for the feedback guys, I guess the shoulder creases are from the high arm holes? It doesn't feel too tight in the shoulders, even though it looks like it.

I like the fabric too. I wonder if it will shrink after wash.

your real problem is that the sleeves are going to be too short as soon as you wash it. they are borderline too short already.

It looks good in the body, it's not too slim, but you may be better off with the next size up, so that's worth a try.

Factory Finds delivered. Pleasant surprise as I forgot that I had four pairs coming. All Walts as follows:

Dark sand basket weave. Very lightweight and I'm pleased with the pattern and color. I think these will make a good warm weather wool trouser.

Chartreuse heavy tweed. This is some serious upholstery. Could wear this out into our ongoing snow right now happily.

Emerald corduroy. Part of my shameless copying of Matt's fits. Great color.

Wool-silk twill. So soft with a wonderful texture to the color from the weave.

Now I wish they were all instantly hemmed. Sadly don't see myself getting to the tailor for at least a week...

And I've got a serious problem since I'm now very excited about the next FF round... Lavender? I hope so.

I concur.

I'm only 5'9'' and the length of the sleeve fits me nicely with a small so I can only imagine the sleeves being shorter on you.

Service chinos today:

I own several pairs of Aldens and like them quite a bit, but in my personal opinion, Carminas are at a higher level of craftmanship.

Thanks for your feedback Macktastic! Think I'm leaning towards Carmina.

Awesome haul! Those wool-silk twills look great, I got a pair of Rudys in that fabric, should be here tomorrow

That last twill is the best of the bunch IMO nod[1].gif
