I believe all pre orders on Aldens have been postponed until further notice due to the instability of their delivery dates.

Quick question...If i wear a size 31 waist in JCREW urban slim fit....does anyone have any idea what Id wear in the rivet chinos?

Depends. Urban slim has very good thigh room, and aggressive taper. The rivets are slimmer in the thigh and taper to where the j.crews go. If you squat, the rivets are a hard sell (I can't fit in them - I wish they did a Rudy-esque chino).

I'm a fan of the new length on the rivets. I'm a "cuff guy" and prefer a double cuff, but couldn't do it with my pair I ordered 10 months or so ago. The pair I just received are significantly longer and I can double cuff. Thighs seem slimmer though, hopefully they'll stretch out as they soften like my old ones.

This is an excellent description and fits with my experience with the rivets. I'm a long time tennis player, and I'm only able to fit the rivets by sizing up and having the waist taken in as I need the extra room in the thigh.

Brilliant GN!

P.S Gentlemen, if you are in Australia, the current shipping time is much longer than 10 business days.

It took 7 business days for it to go across New York.

I don't know whether you would approve :\.

I was pulling my hair out with this one. I wanted it so badly. I just had to have it. Like toad at toad hall; 'toot toot'.

Hell yeah! I have a shawl neck by Hackett but that one looks very close to the Drake's cardigan for a lot less money!

Hahaha, I am happy to get some GN love! I hadn't thought of it like that. The materials, knitting and longevity look pretty good. I will just have to see how it wears in winter :). I hope you win this contest - glad to see someone lifting the standard in Aus!
