I can't remember the exact name, but i think it was Japanese pindot flannel. I'm not sure if it's still in stock.

Thanks, Wade! That's the Pima cotton version, which is also fantastic.

The pindot flannel sold out almost immediately. Forum member wj4 has a size small for sale, though. Check his sig above.

I spent over eight hours on a bus making a round trip from DC to visit Epaulet this past Saturday. Mike and Matt couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating as I tried on shirts, trousers, sportscoats, and shoes to nail down my size in each. In the end, I decided to go with the Factory Finds guncheck Napoli sportscoat, the second (I also bought the Greeley boot in burgundy cordovan) of what I'm sure will be many purchases.

I was planning to order the Napoli duck canvas suit, but the jacket length for the 38 is listed as 29.75".

That is about 1" longer than I prefer. I have a short torso and feel like anything longer than 29" looks to long on me.

Any thoughts, suggestions, advice on what I can do? I rally like that suit!

Order a 38s. It'll arrive in six weeks and incur a special order fee of $50. Worth it!

Edit: 4 to 6 weeks, that is.

Didn't realize that was an option. Thanks!

Pardon my general ignorance re: suiting, but couldn't that be fairly easily adjusted by a competent tailor?

Ordering the Short is another option I suppose.

Short is probably the best bet.

Personally, I don't like the idea of ordering a really really nice suit jacket and then taking it to someone else to chop off the bottom.

Exactly. That is why I buy 38S rather than 38R. Taking an inch off the bottom can throw off the jacket's proportions with the buttons and gorge.

Having said that,I've ordered a short jacket from EP and it came out great.  $50 extra isn't a big deal when the final product is a keeper
