Mike,

I think you need to scrounge up enough material for five pair of the Christmas pants. My thinking goes something like this;
SVB's one pic so far just really kick's ass and is deserving of a win.
KG's pics are always great and to my eye, he spends a fair bit of time with them. Also deserving of a win.
NYR's pics are always great. I like his fits and well, that beard...need I say more? Also deserving of a win.
And who was the guy that had the fit pic in black and white with his kids? Yup, give him a win also.
And then there is me. I'm going for the "randomly chosen winner" route. Plus, I've worn your previous version in Houston, Atlanta, Chicago, Amelia Island (my home turf) and in southern Indiana (fiancee's home turf) where I got a lot of strange looks.

Let's not put Mike out of business, ok?

Nice thought though... lol. In a perfect world...

Submission #5: White Mates in Two

Slim Walt Olive Moleskin Trousers

Those olive moleskin Walts look great in your picture! I tried to get a pair a few months back but they were sold out and I had to settle for a tan one (also very nice). Looking at this picture I think I might need to go for them if they ever become available in my size again.

Thanks! I have the tan as well. Love the earthy richness in color and texture on both. Definitely jump at the olive immediately if there's a restock.

I was thinking strongly about taking the time to take some pics then I saw SVB's amazing Venice Beach pic. Then the onslaught of KG pics topping each one before it and I know that NYR is ready to throw down for realzz.

I think I will just cut myself and got to bed instead. Uggg.

Got my Navy Donegal trousers. Absolutely amazing. I took a gamble on the Walt sizing, and it fits. While a went up a size, I can see me fighting old man winter while looking sharp in these bad boys. Thanks Mike and Adele. Also, if I don't say it before Sunday Merry Christmas to you both and the Epaulet Gang.

Has anyone bought a cordovan candle? My ole lady surprised me with one tonight and the scent is confusing. We did a smell test with a pair of Aldens and Vass and it's quite off and heavy on the lavender. It does smell good and has some musk to it, but it doesn't make me think of cordovan or even leather.

Wow, the photos have been stunning so far! You guys are doing an amazing job.
'
You know, it's funny - part of my pre-Epaulet employment was managing photography contests, and the entries weren't half as creative as what I've seen here. It's fantastic - keep 'em coming! I can see that the People's Choice award is going to be a serious showdown.

Have these in 10 hole Made in UK...LOVE them, abvsolutely Punk Rock...in high school I was rocking Oxblood Steeltoe 10 holes, black 10 holes, and PURPLE 8 holes while wratcheting up to Op Ivy on the old S57 bus, unless I had a SMiths mix in my walkman, Nothing beats an old beat up pair of Docs, and now that my dad is retired, and cleaning out the attic at my childhood house, I seriously hope he finds my boots somewhere up there.

Haha, that's awesome. I was a huge Doc's fan myself - had the 10-eye's in Oxblood, Black, and Plaid (a la the Mighty Bosstones). Wore the hell out of them at my ska shows. I think that slim doc's profile is why I love pieces like the Alden Brixton boot so much.

(wearing my 20 year old MIE oxblood 1460s right now)

I am seriously jealous. Wish that I hung onto my OG boots.

Thanks for picking it up! Well, the scent is inspired by leather - it's not meant to be a duplication of it. We were aiming more for Knize Ten - the famous leathery fragrance from Vienna. When you burn the candle, it gives off a much stronger leather scent than when you smell it out of the box though.

We've got some Carminas in Brooklyn, but most of the collection is in Manhattan. All the double monks and shell styles are there.
