I run a youth running program in the neighborhood for 6-9th graders, as well as something similar through my school with 2nd through 5th graders. Summers I do as much curriculum writing as I can, usually a couple of weeks...yea, the non-tenured people are scared shitless...not to get too political, especially here, but there's a reason why so many teachers leave after 3 or fewer years...in NYC they basically get their balls broken constantly until they get tenured, and even after the third year, many are just on probationary status. When more than half of their rating is on how students perform, in the poorer school districts its nearly impossible to get tenure these days.post #17241 of 2076412/8/12 at 2:18pmQuote:I went to Stuyvesant High School and we perform better than the majority of the schools in the nation. Guess the teachers there have it easy compared to a zoned high school.

Should I probably bump up to a 40? I'm a medium in Epaulet shirting but it is tight in the shoulders, if that helps. I ended up getting the waist taken in on my jacket quite a bit after I got it.

Yes, I'd say a 40 in the Daltrey would be a good fit. Our shape is loosely based on the Fitzgerald, with a slimmer, more European fit.
The fit in the shoulders is the most crucial. If you have an athletic build (wide shoulders, narrow waist), then it's often impossible to avoid a bit of tailoring in the body, as most OTR jackets are calculated for a 7 or 8" drop. But if the shoulders and chest fit you well, then taking in the body is an easy and relatively inexpensive thing to do, and it gives you an entirely customized fit. A lot of guys really look to avoid tailoring at all costs, but I always maintain that quality menswear is worth the investment, and once you find a tailor that does good work and knows you, you'll want to use them all the time.Return HomeBack to Forum: Streetwear and Denim- Epaulet shop - Official Affiliate thread
