Rob - I give you a lot of credit. The longest I've been able to let the beard grow was 5 weeks. (for me, it was more of a vanity thing, as seeing all the gray in my beard every day made me feel 10 years older).

I like your fu-man-chu from last year. Good look on you.

NYR - I really like how your Christmas getup turns into two dudes in wifebeaters and staches by the last shot. You clearly have wilder Christmas parties than I do.

Mike, it was great meeting you today. I was the one that bought the last Black Grape Marl cardigan in XL. You have a great store. Keep up the great work!

Great meeting you too - thanks so much for coming through! And enjoy the cardigan!

If you guys made the holiday walts/rudys and a blackwatch version they would probably sell out within minutes

Haha, I don't know. I LOVE bold tartan pants (actually, bold tartans on anything) and the Black Stewart Tartan pants (as shown on NYR's recent shots) were some of the most awesome, yet worst selling trousers that we ever made. The new plaids are blowing out, but they're a lot more subtle. If I ordered a bunch more tartan pants, Adele might actually kill me.

wow, what am I missing here? whats so great about these trousers? im enthralled at this point

Our trousers will change your life. I promise!

Okay, NYR finally made me jump on the cargo trousers. Just put my order in for a pair.
Mike, love the pics you've posted. Those Christmas pants are just frisking amazing!!!

Thank you sir - let me know what you think! I wear my cargo Rudy's all the time.

Nick Kroll? Could you please tell him I say "Hi"? What's he like in person?

Very cool and personable guy. I'll tell him a big hello from you next time. We're actually really privileged - our community of showbiz customers are a very easygoing group. It's always great to have them come in.

For all of you that purchased the Gape Marl cardi what color does it say on the tag?

Ah sorry man, our shipping guys definitely mixed up your sweater - it should say "Blackgrape" on the tag. We'll get that switched out for you with a quickness.

Epaulet Trouser Fit Pic Contest Next Week

So, we've been tossing around the idea of a fit pic contest for a little while now. Originally, I was proposing our CDG colognes as a prize, but the overwhelming amount of PM's I've received in the past week have led me to a better one:

A custom, one-off pair, of the infamous Epaulet Christmas Trousers! (as modeled by a very drunken Dylan and I).

We have about 3 yards remaining - enough to make one pair of pants. You'll join an elite group of only four other guys who own the Walt/Rudy in this "wild and crazy" tartan. The winner can choose his fit and size, and the trousers will be ready for him around the 3rd week of January. They'll come too late to rock them for Christmas, but not too late to bring some serious winter-time pain in Jan, Feb, and March!

We'll kick it off on Monday. Further details to come!

I remember you mentioning that Mos Def stopped by before... makes a lot of sense thinking about it. My tailor is a fan of the trousers I bring in on a semi-frequent basis :embar:

1. Are we doing full body shots or just the pants?
2. I'm assuming I can submit one pic for every pair?

I'm taking PEDs for the first time in my life to help me win the fit pic contest. Time to bring the pain.
