Hey all, never bought from Epaulet, but really interested in that Snorkel jacket. Do they offer a discount for Sfers?

No discount, but for the quality of their items, the prices are more than fair. But SFers do get the benefit of a no questions asked return policy, which is helpful if you're not sure about sizing.

I can attest to the above. They are, hands down, the best to deal with pertaining to sizing, returns, questions on fit, etc. I'm a recent Epaulet convert. My first order was returned, and they were fantastic. Since then I have been ordering a few times a month, minimum. Once you hone in on your size/fit, look out. Has anyone ordered the new Thorogood work oxfords? How are they?

 

I'm looking to improve my shoe collection and needed something casual for days when I'm not in business casual attire. 

 

I'd love to splurge and get a pair of Carmina's, but at my newbie stage of updating my wardrobe, I just can't bring myself to spend that much.

Good to hear, for under $400 that jacket looks killer anyway. And it's nice to hear about the return policy, but luckily living in NY I have the benefit of going to the store.

Quoting this to say I agree. I recently got the baby camel hair jacket at about half price, $350-ish. I felt like I got a good deal. I was flipping through a JCrew catalog that came in the mail and saw a camel hair jacket that looked not nearly as nice...and they wanted $998 for it. Epaulet is certainly not cheap, but they are unquestionably a great value when you consider the level of quality you get compared to similarly priced or similarly made items.

And honestly, I tell Mike this ad nauseum, but the fact that he has all of his products made right here in the US is a huge reason why I started (and continue to) shop at Epaulet. For me its also important that Mike is local...he is part of the Brooklyn small business community (and NYC) and to me thats so important. It helps his products kick as too, but at so many levels, knowing all of my money stays in countries that have fair labor laws, and so much of its stays right here in the local community, is so important.

Absolutely. We've got every size except 36. We had 3 units of that, but two of them actually sold in the store when it was delivered, and before it went online. Apologies for that - we'll definitely restock it down the road.

Definitely, we're working on a full range of Chromexcel belts for the fall. They'll be thick and denim-friendly, along the lines of our last collection.

Agree with this completely, though I am not local. Where the pieces are made is the icing on the cake for me.

I love my natural chromexcel belt and would definitely buy some more in other colors, hopefully they come out sooner than fall of next year!
