Hmm, I really curious. Is that a new site or is it just a site for sales?

Yes sir, caramel rivets have become my favorite pair of pants. I would give them a try.

I feel that same way about the Desert. Caramel's just too brown for my tastes, but to each their own. What matters is, we're all wearing Epaulet Rivets. biggrin.gif

They are definitely my favorite casual pants and I plan to try to get a caramel duck if it comes back in stock.

I know ^^^ is an "older" post, but do most of you cold wash & hang dry your rivet chino's? After how many wears do you wash?

This thing marries the ruggedness of a boot, with the dressiness of cap toe on a great last. Mike, this design is the best I've seen. I'm tempted to wear them every freakin' day.

I had been lusting over the Desert for a while, but I never saw my size pop back up online. Maybe a restock of those will be coming sometime soon?

And 2 awesome looks up there from wj4 and NYR! Both stellar outfits

Received my Red/Blue/Cream Flannel today. What a lovely shirt. Part of me felt silly paying $150 + shipping for a flanny (and still does!) but it's so deliciously soft that I think I'll get over it!

I think I'll get the darts taken out and just have the side seams taken in which is something that I've had done on quite a few of my EP shirts. I just don't feel that darts are that appropriate on a flannel shirt, and they are also a bit distracting on plain coloureds eg my EP blue OCBD.

I am looking forward to EP releasing it's non darted range soon.

Unfortunately it's coming into summer here so I won't be able to wear it that much if at all this year!

On that note I also received my special order Rudy navy moleskins which are also amazingly soft - I think there will be even less chance to wear those this year, though, unfortunately.

Ok folks, a couple of questions:

1) Looking to purchase a new pair of tweed\flannel trousers (cold weather is here in Canada). I have ordered a pair of Donegal Tweed Grey pants already, have a pair of gray flannel Glen Plaid's, have a pair of chocolate twills (factory special order) and Chartreuse Tweed (factory special order), Looking on the site I am considering either a Navy pair or something else. My questions are:
- For all of the Navy Flannel \ Tweeds on the site, what are the darkest navy pants (Flannels, Shetlands, Donegals, etc)?
- What is the difference color wise between the Salt&Pepper, Ironwood and Grey Donegals? If I have the Grey on order, is that enough or are the other colors distinct enough from the grey?

2) Looking at special ordering a pair of the Ruby Cordovan Bal Boot but have never tried anyting on the Forest Last (I do have a pair of the Salinger Double Monks on the Inca last). Also, feet a re a little wide (on the edge of a D\E). If the Inca fits like a dream, what are the thoughts on how the Forest will fit if I take an Inca size UK 8?

Thanks,
Jamie

NYR you have some great overcoats. And those boots, what more can you say about them?

wj4. Those are spectacular trousers, and I love the socks with them (among all the other pieces of the look). Very nice.

Interesting that you have the darts taken out. When I considered doing this on the two EP shirts I have, I thought I saw little holes in the fabric that were used to pin the fabric down when creating the dart. Maybe it was just the one shirt I looked at, but it seemed as if it would be visible when the darts are taken out. I guess this must not be the case, if this dart removal is something you are doing.

I can live with the darts, but I also prefer to get the shape in a shirt body from the side panels.
