Is there anywhere online I can buy the same buttons that are used on Epaulet shirts? I lost one off my buffalo check shirt and local stores are turning up close matches, but not the exact ones.

I could be off here, but sounds like we can expect some new shirting to be released today?

Navy heirloom cardigan is my all-time favorite. It's heavy enough to take the place of a coat, looks great with all kinds of tweeds and flannels, and fits like a dream.

Just all custom order now, or nearly all

The navy marled are still my favorite Epaulet trousers to date.

I'm thinking about getting the charred forest donegal in hopes of similar texture.

I probably wear my Caine Sportcoat in Navy Hopsack the most. I see my Caine Sportcoat in gray Harris Tweed getting more wear now that it is cooling down. The Green Marl Sportcoat gets several positive comments every time I wear it.

I guess that all my Epaulet purchases are equally favored. Sort of like asking a parent to name a favorite child.

I've posted this before, but I agree with you:

By now, anyone who reads these forums knows I am a big fan and regular customer of Epaulet. Mike puts out some awesome stuff; crazy plaid pants (of which I have two pair), cozy flannel shirts, and really good Carmina and Alden shoe makeups. But my favorite Epaulet item is totally mundane -- it's this blue OCBD.

The thing is that this particular one just nails it. The fabric is the perfect amount of beefy-ness that you want from an oxford while still being totally soft and comfortable to wear. The collar is perfect in its stance and roll.

I've worn this all over as it's always a go-to shirt to bring on vacations. I've worn it with jeans, I've worn it with a navy blazer, and I've worn it with a suit. I wore it in Costa Rica to go ziplining and it started pouring rain just as we went out. I got absolutely drenched. It got a bunch of dirt and stains on it from the safety gear and whatever else, but most of those have washed out after subsequent wearings.

It's the perfect shirt to wear on a boat:

The collar rolls just how it should:

It looks good on my floor:

and of course, it's the perfect shirt to wear along with plaid pants in a sketchy motel room:

But I suspect that day is pretty far away still.

Do you have a pic of the Caine sportcoat in Harris Tweed? I'd be curious to see it as I have been thinking of getting the same.

NEW SHIRTS

Hey guys!

We got a great delivery of new Fall shirts. Check out the styles....

Buttondown Collar Blue & White Windowpane Flannel: $150

Buttondown Collar Red, Blue & Cream Flannel: $150

Buttondown Collar Melange Herringbone Plum: $175

Buttondown Collar Melange Herringbone Copper: $175

Also, we brought in an Olive variant of our moleskin overshirt and restocked Navy. This is one of the best Fall items that we make. It's warm, comfortable, easy to wear, and machine washable. A versatile and elegant piece:

Cutaway Collar Overshirt Olive Moleskin: $265

Cutaway Collar Overshirt Navy Moleskin: $265

And one other thing. We put these trousers online by themselves, so they never made it into a newsletter, and I don't recall posting them here. But take a look:

Walt Trouser Brushed French Blue: $175

These are hands-down my favorite cotton trousers that we've ever made. They're extremely comfortable, warm but not too hot, and a very versatile, muted color. They've been a great seller in the stores for months, and I just took forever to get around to shooting them and putting them online. If you're cruising for a cotton walt trouser, definitely consider these.

[EDIT] And I'm just realizing now that Dylan was wearing his western boots when we shot that fit pic. Yowza.
