Chinos touching shoes, just to prove you can do it, wj4? smile.gif

The thing about your looks is that it's clear you mean for things to be the exactly the way they are. Your steez, as you put it.

Haha. Frank, it depends on the outfit. Those Red Wing, being work wear inspired shoes, would look super weird with rolled up chinos. When I roll up the trousers, I wear bright/colorful socks to dictate that it was done on purpose as you stated.

This was not the first time BTW. A couple of previous ones, also Epaulet chinos.

Perfectly reasonable.

Cheers. laugh.gif

Definitely the Moleskin. They're one of the warmest pants that we offer - I would enthusiastically recommend them for really cold nights. The Shetland Tweed would be great too.

Something to consider - since the temps are so extreme, we can do a special order pant for you with a Shetland tweed that's got a full cotton liner, like the Harris Tweed. That would be overkill for most climates, but great for Anchorage. It would be one of the warmest wool trousers on the market. Drop me a PM if you want to talk more about it.

Oh yeah, you should be good. But feel free to PM Matt at leftofthedial if you want to pick one up ahead of time.

Oh you're going to love them!

I'm relatively new to the silk scarf thing. I bought my first one in 2009, on a trip to London. I got a navy pindot one at a mod/trad store and quickly got attached to it. Silk scarves can look really elegant with a blazer, great under a shirt, and are quite warm when paired with the right coat. They're both extremely traditional and old school, but also really exciting and a bit daring to wear. Our guys in Germany make some of the very best in the world.

As I like to say, silk scarves on men are like "a middle finger to boring people"

Speaking of fall, exploded buffalo check flannel peeking out here. Not a great pic, but some fun fall color.
This shirt is so cozy--and that's a word I usually only use w/in the confines of my own home.

Whoa, the original exploded buffalo check! That brings back some good memories!

Yes, the waistband should be a bit larger than 34 if you double it up and measure it across. If they feel tight and aren't measuring correctly, drop me a line.

A poor picture of my caine blazer. The shirt sleeves are very shrunken, so the sleeves look longer on the jacket than they are.

I love how you own those striped trousers Wisith. You're like "Exile on Main Street" on every street with those.
