Say, Mike - do you know what frames Dylan is wearing in the above picture? The shape is very common, but I tend to run across ones that are too thick...those are perfect.

We've got about 500 units in-bound, I believe that there's a Gunmetal canvas in there, but we unfortunately don't have any Gunmetal Japanese twill like we used to offer. It's been impossible getting that fabric this year, but I've got it on backorder.hi mike, are you planning on doing a restock of the gunmetal rivet chinos anytime soon? on that note, what chinos are you planning on releasing in the next 2-3 months?
Yes, it has minimal padding for a natural shoulder. All of our Southwick for Michael Kuhle jackets have a small degree of shoulder construction. IMO it strikes a really excellent balance. There's definitely a vogue for totally unstructured shoulders, but they're not that flattering on everyone, and the jacket's fit can be off if you're not "in the pattern." (ex. your shoulders are broader or more narrow than the intended shape). I find that the Southwick Natural Shoulder is really flattering for most guys, and gives you a great shape without looking too built up.Mike is there padding in the shoulders of the Daltry?
Awesome, hope that you like them!Alright, all the gushing praise has a pair of Rudys coming my way. Hope they can accomodate my Earl Campbell thighs and I get hooked on the junk like the rest of you!
That's fantastic! The Rudy was my pet project for a year so I love hearing satisfied stories about it. For winter trousers, check out the Navy Flannel - it's the best Rudy that we've got going at the moment. We'll get a full restock of Grey Flannel rudy's in a few weeks. And take a look at the Brown Houndstooth - those trousers are really slamming.I got my Petrol Blue trousers hemmed the other day and wore them for the first time yesterday. Astounding! The color is insane and the fit on point, even for my Hulk thighs/junk in the trunk, and the construction is nutso. Now that I know my size, I need to decide what ones I want next! Any suggestions? I still need basics, something warm for winter, maybe.
Sure thing. Here's some comparisons: Horsehide is thicker than Cowhide, but minimally so. The Cowhide is totally appropriate for the Fall/Winter, but will be marginally more wearable in the late Spring when it gets warmer. Horsehide is naturally oily. Cowhide will need leather conditioner (included) to build up water resistance Horsehide will develop a patina in the leather itself. Cowhide will develop a patina due to the conditioner working out (kind of like a waxed cotton jacket). Horsehide is a very dark brown. Cowhide is a medium-dark tan that turns into a solid medium brown with conditioner Both of them will be tough-ass, comfortable boots. It really comes down to a color preference. A lot of guys who mostly wear jeans tend towards the Cowhide because the lighter color tone contrasts nicely with indigo. If you're more of a chino / trouser man, then the Horsehide is probably a better choice. It looks ace with chinos and really nice with flannel trousers. Can someone tell me some differences between the horsehide and the cowhide thorogoods? Is one better suited for a Chicago than another? Does one patina better?
We'll get Danner Boots in shortly - the classic Mountain Light and the Danner/Tanner collab boot in Olive CXL. The Mountain lite will be right up your alley for hiking and manly activities! Wow, my manly activities never include hiking of any sort. Mostly drinking, seeing movies, and going to the gym. I really need to get out more.the price point for the thorogoods is unbeatable. amazing for a fall/winter boot. i just wish they had a different sole for hiking and other manly activities oh well ... im sure mike has more incredibly rugged shoe options coming down the pipeline
Ah sorry, not this season unfortunately. This was my only delivery of that boot.Mike, any chance of getting Officers Indy Boot in size 10? Thanks!

Definitely check out the Cramertons...they're a nice heavy cloth and should be perfect for fall/winter. I also just ordered the navy lambswool too - can't wait to get my hands on those, and they seem like another good fall trou as well. A bunch of people here have raved about them already. I haven't actually seen them in person yet...are they heavy enough for winter wear, or better suited just for fall?
