Interested to see how the wide Forest bal boots I ordered are going to fit. It that's my best fit, might order one of the CXL makeups when they restock. Good to know that this sounds like it will be a possibility. Love the Forest shape. This direct Epaulet line to Carmina could turn into a problem. I've exercised restraint so far, but I'm weak.

Hmmm... also good to know. Was considering buying the 10oz Rivets in plum, but perhaps I will now wait to see what these cords look like.

Thanks! These sounds great...will pick up at least the moss and probably another pair after the pics come out. Not sure if you're considering more colors of these in the future, but I think a chocolate brown cord would be perfect for fall and I'd be all over that in a hearbeat.

There's a rip the size of a quarter in the leg of my wine oxford chinos. Anyone have any services or NYC-area tailors/shops they'd recommend that would be able to darn them or otherwise repair them without using a patch? (Tried French American and Alice Zotta in midtown and they both said they wouldn't recommend reweavers.)

 

I thought of contacting a denim repair service since oxford cloth and denim are reasonably similar in construction (though obviously not identical), and Denim Therapy said that they could repair but they doubted I'd be happy with the results. Any recommendations?

My outfits are usually captured in detail in my blog FYI. I didn't post them here because neither the shoes or trousers are from Epaulet.

To answer your question, they're black shell LWB from Alden.
