Absolutely. I don't imagine that we'll make any more of these in the near future as delivery now is going to be October-November, but we'll surely bring them out in full force for next Spring. Definitely in sand too.

Not these. Moccasin and Goodyear Welt construction are two different things. Moc's are softer and significantly less expensive than goodyear welts. They mold to your foot more quickly and lend themselves wonderfully to loafers like this. But the tradeoff is that they're less durable. A cobber can certainly repair or resole these easily, and it costs less than a goodyear welt resole. That said, goodyear welts can be resoled and repaired many times, while you'd probably only do it a few times for moc's.

Construction-wise, these are the same basic make as leather-soled loafers from Quoddy, Rancourt, Oak Street, Yuketen, and our own former Sewn By Hand line. But we made those changes to ensure that these would be longer wearing and more comfortable. For anyone who owns a loafer from one of those other brands, I'm confident that you'll be delighted with these. These were the handsewns that I always dreamed of offering.

Mike the new moccasins are showing up as 545 in my cart rather than 325.

Would it ever be possible to order a B width when you guys were doing preorders of anything? I hate my narrow feet.

Hey Mike just wondering if the calfskin Fitzgerald in UK7 got restocked? There seems to be 2 listings for the shell Fitzgerald in that size but none for the calfskin.

Hey guys, here are the two new Carmina's that we just received:

Salinger Double Monk Burgundy Shell Cordovan: $825
These might be the best looking shoes that we've ever received. They are stunning in person. The burgundy shell is lighter and more vibrant than Color 8, and it's absolutely gorgeous on the thicker stacked medium brown sole. Inca last.

Here's to these selling out immediately. I mean really fast. Please.

Thanks, Mike. I'll have to stop by sometime in the next few days to check the loafer out.

Also, mind getting back to me on this? smile.gif

Ah man, sorry about that - the price wasn't changed on the price variants. We'll get it fixed ASAP.

I'll ask Adele for help. I'm already four drinks into an all-nite Billy Joel karaoke fest. I'm not kidding.

EpauletXCharleston meetup today:
BG in the Leaf Rivets and Suede Chukkas and I'm in the Seersucker shirt and Handsewn mocs. Dunno how you Southerners wear long pants in this...feels like 150 down here. BG asked me to crouch down to make him look taller...biggrin.gif. Good times in Charleston, thanks for bringing it together Epaulet!

Good photo NYR and BG. The leaf rivets look great.

The prospect of sand suede loafers is the only thing stopping me from ordering the snuff suede (my resolution not to buy more shoes probably wouldn't be enough.)
