I suggest we come up with a special prize for the first person to wear the pending python austerity brogues with the purple tweed suit. That seems as if it ought to be a LOOK.

Don't tempt me, bro! I already preordered the python. I already plan on getting the pants. I've been thinking about the jacket this afternoon.

I'm not one to normally post the "OMG love love love" posts, but had to share this for all the Epaulet freaks on this thread. I was cleaning out my closet a few days ago, and had some thoughts about this crazy hobby.

I discovered Epaulet right around when I started taking dressing seriously a few years ago. I think we've all been through the phase where we were figuring things out, and had a few regrettable purchases as we found our way into this brave new world of buying quality clothing.

I've acquired quite a bit from Mike and Adele, and all of it is excellent. Special make-up Alden's to Carmina's to trousers to chinos to shirts to pocket squares and waxed cotton jackets and various bits and pieces. All of it rocks. I've never found people who stand behind their work so solidly, and who always steer you right. Not only do they make amazing gear, they hire great people. Everyone I've ever met working in the stores knew their shit and always remembered my name and knew just what new stuff I might be interested in.

I'm throwing this post out there so that future clothing freaks can find this in the search engines, you will not go wrong with Epaulet.

There wasn't a single thing I cleaned out of my closet that came from Epaulet. There's a huge list of things I want to get and only wish I had the unlimited funds to do so (every shoe they do ever to start with).

Mike and Adele and team are doing it right. Just keep doing it!

^ great post man. Your experience with Epaulet sounds almost exactly like mine has been over the past year and a half or so. And I'm sure there are countless others that would chime in and say their experience sounds shockingly similar as well! icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

Polos are up... It might be just me but the collar seems a bit on the small side?

Still love them though. They look damn comfortable too.

I think the collar does look maybe a tad small on the pics of the polos by themselves, but they look pretty normal sized to me on the model.

It looks great and I just ordered a Bordeaux one to try. Hopefully the sizing recommendation is spot on.

Burgundy joint copped. They look fine. Not wild about dropping $135 on a polo shirt, but oh well.

I think I'll add the Navy CLXs to my wishlist just like Olive CLX and Red Suede.

My first pair of Rancourts, Snuff Suede Ranger Moc, should be on its way to my house very soon, can't wait to get my hands on them.
