My best fitting chinos are 32 W Buzz Rickson Original Specs. These are a full rise and wider leg chino, so I know they are a bit different fit than the Rivets. The BR's basically fit me perfectly, with no extra room in the thigh, but a little room in the waist and seat.
Anyway here are the measurements for the BR's (lifted from the shop where I purchased them)
Waist = 32.6
Length = 33.5
Front Rise = 12.2
Back Rise = 15
Thigh = 11.6
Hem = 9.0
And, based on my measurements per Epaulets measuring conventions:
Knee = 9.45
What do you recommend?
137

Looks like you're a 32 in the Rivet chino. I would expect for the Rivet chino to be slimmer than what you're used to with the measurements you posted, however.

Thanks for the help. I'm thinking to go for the 33, and possibly have the waist taken in a bit.

Hey Epauleters, Can you please make cargo pants with barchetta pockets?

Yesterday, in Epaulet. More compliments from women on the Emerald twills. (The nat. cxl. longwings are not actually Epaulet, but still in the spirit.)

As you might have heard, climate change seems to have done away with Summer in England. But it has its advantages.

I'm a huge fan of Joel Mchale. Is he wearing Epaulet, or is this old news?

Either way it's just increasing my regret of not getting that Madras shirt when I had the chance.

Haha, I truly appreciate the comment, sir. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif The good pictures are usually taken on the weekend because of the better camera.

+1, I also think that you'd take a size 32.

Thanks.

YES! They actually arrived on Thursday, and they look fantastic. We've got them in Navy, Burgundy, and Infrared. They're slim and mod as hell. Beautifully made too in Northern Italy.

I have them shot and we'll look to get them built out on the site tomorrow. They're $135, and I think that you'll find them superior to Sunspel and other comparable items at this price point. The cotton pique is perfect.

One issue for this first production run. The sizing is about one size larger than our shirts. Meaning that a Small polo will work for a Medium shirt customer, and so on. We had intended to order XS through Large, but Small through XLarge were produced instead.

So, for this early batch, if you're a true Small in our shirts or a 36 chest, chances are that the Small polo will be too big for you. Everyone else can just size down and your fit's going to be spot on.

Apologies to the size small dudes! But we've got the pattern fixed and the logistics finalized. We'll order a mix of short sleeves and long sleeves for the Fall, and we'll be sure to bring plenty of styles that will fit you on the next go-around. We've already sold a dozen units in the stores, and this is definitely going to be a category that we build out even further.

Love the fit, especially with the harrington.

Haha, I dig this picture. I'm a big fan as well. It's definitely the same fabric, but I don't believe that it's our shirt - there doesn't seem to be a chest pocket and it looks like the shirt has chalk white buttons. But we'll work on that - we've got the market cornered on tv-based comedians, so it's just a matter of time before he joins the crew.

(start rant)

I usually stay out of this stuff. But I'll go on record to say that the RL uniforms for the Olympics are complete and utter bullshit. It's actually unbelievable.

Outside of style criticisms (of which of I have many, especially due to that g-damn enormous logo), the fact that these were not made in the United States is absolutely shocking. I know RL has some smart people working there. They know all of the manufacturing points in the United States. I see a Navy jacket which could have been made at Southwick, Oxxford, Hickey, Rocco, or Greenfield. Lots of options for shirts. Skirts are certainly easy. Shoes could have been made at Alden. And hell, they could have asked us to make the trousers.

Actually, I don't know anyone who makes berets here. May have had to outsource those. Or better yet, not make them at all.

Did NO ONE think for even a second that they MIGHT be criticized for making the United States Olympics uniforms outside of the United States? Seriously? In all of the meetings that must have surrounded this project, that never occurred to anyone? If it was some mass merchant doing it, like the Gap, I'd at least understand their mentality. But RL currently produces things in the States. Why the hell wouldn't they make it here?

I think this is a massive failure, an ugly PR hit, and a huge disappointment. I wouldn't be surprised if someone loses their job for it.

(end rant)

Oh yes. I've got a muted Purple tweed which will absolutely blow your mind. We should have it here around early September. Along with a gorgeous Navy tweed, and a Brown herringbone tweed.

And the best part? We'll be able to cut special order matching jackets on demand for about $800. We'll be talking about $1025 for a genuine Scottish shetland suit in three mind-blowing colors. The perfect match for all of those Carmina balmoral boots that we're grinding out smile.gif
