Epaulet monsters, I made a mistake. I bought the Moss Duck chinos in a 33 and cold washed them today, thinking I would go to the tailor tomorrow. I took them out, let them dry, and realized they are not for me (I have come to the realization that I can't do the rivets - my thighs are too big). They're going to go up on b/s for a discount, and they are unworn. They're a 33. PM me if you're interested before I take pics and post them tomorrow.

What should one expect shrinkage wise across the board with rivets? I haven't washed any of my pairs yet 

I maschine washed my pair twice at 30°C/low temperatur since I got it and afterwards let it air dry.
It did neither shrink with wash nor stretch with wear, they are true to size.

I will buy one and see how it fits. Sounds like I may have a new hobby.

Long periods of time between posts in this thread makes me sad...nothing recent for me, pretty much been living on the beach past week and a half. But surely others have been wearing Eps. Having said that, Mike, any plans for doing a beach vaca-inspired pieces, particularly swim trunks?

I had some difficulty deciding on what special order trousers to order, and finally settled on the olive/bronze and midnight donegals. Hopefully they come out good for fall/winter.

No we haven't, but we probably could do one via special order if you want. We don't have a lot of demand for them, so I don't see us doing a production run anytime soon.

Midnight Donegal is just going to be cool as hell. Olive/Bronze is a really unique tone that's going to be especially killer under a blue jacket.

Man, I couldn't sleep at 2AM and logged onto Epaulet's website to see if anything good showed up. I have a problem.

Looking for some help here:

I marked up Carmina Salinger Double Monk Cordos pretty good yesterday. Essentially a brown line/scuff on the toe box, so with the light sadle cordovan, the mark shows up very dark (almost like a magic marker). I tried taking a damp cloth to rub it ou and a good rubdown with my horsehair brush but no luck.

I am going to get some Saphir Renevateur but am thinking this may not be enough. What sort of shoe wax or cream should I get from the Saphir line to match color wise (going o be ordering oth products from Mike so colors available are on Epaulet's site).
