Epaulet shop - Official Affiliate thread - Page 914

If anyone has any experience with this kind of situation, I'd appreciate some advice.

 

Yesterday, I ordered a pair of Rivet trousers in size 30, and paid the $30 for expedited shipping because I want them for the 4th.  I'd like to ammend the order and also purchase a pair of 29s, because I'm not sure which will fit me better (I can return the undesirable pair).  I know the Epaulet stores aren't open on Monday, so if I call tomorrow bright and early, would they be able to add another pair of pants to my order?  Or do they ship from a warehouse somewhere, and are unable to modify orders?

No insight on the phone ordering. But you won't be getting the pants in time for the 4th. They're closed Mondays, so shipping isn't till Tuesday, and the USPS/other shippers don't deliver on the 4th.

I'd try to contact Mike (Epaulet) via PM or, better, via phone, he's a very friendly and helpful guy who will give his best to make it possible for you.

As I am unsure whether I am a 29 or 30 may I ask what your height and weight are?

Epaulet is closed on the 3rd and the 4th, so you most likely won't get a response till the 5th either way. But, they are usually very accommodating to such requests.

Let's see who of the two of us is first to get the chinos, mine, 29 ones, are stored at German customs at the moment, hopefully they will get things sorted soon.
I am 5'8 and 135lbs by the way.

A hot water wash and high heat dry will typically take your rivet down 1 size in waist (lose about 1") and shorten the inseam by about 1.5"

I've done that with all my rivets and walts ( I have 6 pairs............thus far)

Mike is out of town I believe until they re-open...and they're closed until Friday i think...You could hot wash and dry them as earlier noted...good luck man, and I'm sure if you did try that, guys here would want to know how much it did shrink...

@NYR if I don't get them by the 4th, I'll just order/return/order/return until I get the correct size.  If, however, I have to resort to dryer torture, I'll be sure to share the results.
