+3, I am relieved to hear this. I was about to put myself on a diet, because I was shocked by how tight they were. My size 33s are on their way back to Mike as we speak.

good to know some others had similar experiences tho...maybe I will keep them and get the thigh and seat taken out a bit.

Oops, I think I might have exaggerated. Should have wrote 1~2". I do have relatively thin legs though.shog[1].gif

some relevant developments:

Michael Bastian has leased space at 1308 Abbot Kinney (among others)

While I'm downtown now, I still think Venice would be perfect for an Epaulet LA location... just saying! (again) devil.gif

If I had more, I would post them up. Actually, I plan on posting some up anyway, but I only have 1 Epaulet shirt. frown.gif

When is the deadline?  My shirt just shipped today, but if I get it early enough I might jump in.

Just came home from my birthday party, I'll probably be posting some (just SLIGHTLY) quirky pic of me in a madras shirt and a purple wig uhoh.gif

For the shirt contest. Melon cutaway. I hope this mobile Photobucket works! FYI, that pretty lady is Peaches.

I wanted to make something simple, that captured the quality, comfort and style of Epaulet. It's clothing you always want to wear, even just to sit at home and watch TV. You can wear it anywhere, anytime, and look good.

Man, these lifestyle shots are awesome. The adorable pups definitely don't hurt your case either!

I just got the grey oxfords, and they felt extra tight on my thigh - I measured the thigh on my Caramels and Leafs, and noticed that these grey oxfords are about a quarter of an inch slimmer through the thigh when laid flat compared to my other pairs. That missing half inch all the way around really makes these too tight to wear for me, so I'll probably have to return them. For those that still need a pair, keep an eye out for these size 34s popping back up on the site in a few days.
On the other hand, my first Epaulet shirt is even better than expected - collar is slightly big as I imagined it would be, but I'll be wearing it casually so that doesn't really matter, and the fit is spot on in every other area. I'll get up a pic for the shirt contest in the next few days.

As with the trousers, some lighter fabrics may make up a hair slimmer. With the new construction on the Rivet Chino it's a lot easier to make the pants fit how you want them to. Letting out the seat a bit will probably help the tightness in the thigh.

Looking great, Rob. Making me ask myself why I didn't wear a short-sleeved shirt today.

I think it would do better in the Los Feliz/Silverlake area to be honest with you, some added competition for Confederacy and Mohawke...
