In case anyone is interested, I put my regiment twill trousers through a full dryer cycle to see if I could achieve some controlled shrinkage. I sometimes do this because I am between sizes. Anyway, I got them to shrink just a little. I think they fit me better now, but I wouldn't say that it was a big difference.

How are people caring for their rivets? Cold wash/hang dry seemed okay for the top block after a few minutes, but from the knee down it stayed stiff and kept a weird shape. I'm thinking of just taking a steamer to them to try and get a more natural drape below the knee like when you first get them, any other suggestions?

I cold wash mine, air dry them, and then warm iron em.

Also go the waist to shrink by about a inch, maybe a little less, which is exactly what I was looking for. I probably won't machine dry them again.

Cool, just had my 7oz rivets hemmed and the lady did em too long, they're also is room in the waist, I may just pop one pair in the dryer to see how they turn out.

Awesome, glad that you like them! The pricing actually isn't too bad - it will be somewhere in between calfskin and shell cordovan. They're going to be bonkers!

Yes, the Forest last can be ordered in wides, so we can accommodate that for both the Sinclair boot and the MTO project Bal Boot.

I do cold wash/hang dry my rivets, but never thought to steam them. Once I wear them for a couple of hours any wrinkles come right out.

Wearing my newly arrived 7oz caramel rivets today. These sure feel a lot lighter than the 10ozs. Should be good for the upcoming hot weather. I'll get them hemmed after getting whatever shrinkage it may have after a couple of washes.

It definitely is. And we'll surely figure out some wu-tang technique to ship python to our friends in Cali!

Ok, I'm going to put together a preorder for this next week, the "cognac" python color will freaking blow you away. And you'll never believe how comfortable these shoes are. It's impossible to find something like this so basically no one has ever felt a snakeskin shoe on their foot, but let me tell you - it feels unbelievable.

I can't wait for this. These shoes are going to be bonkers, and we'll be one of the only accounts to ever order python shoes for men!

Thanks! Those chukkas are actually "cappuccino" shell from Allen Edmonds. They look kind of like cigar from online pictures, but are quite a bit lighter than cigar.
