So many new chinos in my size and so little money.

Guys, ultra-noob question: what's the difference between rolling and cuffing on chinos? shog[1].gif Alternatively, I would like to see a picture of them rolled up, because I know what cuffing is smile.gif

they get used interchangeably but if we're splitting hairs, rolling means rolling them up whereas cuffing is the process by which a tailor sews it in as a permanent feature

hi guys!
I can't figure out on how 8oz 100% Cotton Fine Line Twill used for service chinos are light enough or too heavy for summer wearing, I think they should be quite a summer garment even because lightest chinos, as i know, from Epaulet are 7oz. But where i live we don't use british/american units and we only make difference from spring/summer and autumn/winter collection.
So you guys who own 8oz cotton chinos in the NYC area (which has a similar summer weather than italy) do you think you will be able to wear them in summer?
Sorry for the weird question but for me it's a quite new experience to buy on line and so I can't figure out how this chinos will be?
thanks for help!

If I put explosions in this, I'd get a knock on my door from Homeland Security, and risk ending up in some Eastern European Gulag...

Yeah but do you think they'd reduce the tolls? If so, worth it.

(Only joking. Nice pic!)

I have some of the 8oz chinos and I was comfortable the other day in Chicago where it was 90*F+ and a little humid. I would say they will definitely be light enough for summer for the majority of people, they are so much better than denim on a hot day.

Refer to Mike's signature for more info. In a nutshell: yes, within 14 days and items must be purchased at retail prices, not on sale.

Mike: Man! For a second, I thought the Brixtons were Ravello! shog[1].gif

Those boots are so freaking awesome. Too bad I can't afford them frown.gif

On a brighter note, today I've successfully passed a job interview in my navy/brown gingham cutaway. It may involve trips to Santa Barbara some time in the future (I'm in Europe), so Mike, you'd better open a store in California by that time nod[1].gif
